Run time info has missing days some weeks. Sensor data is not available about half the time. Trying to get to sensor data a second time works most of the time. Error is "internal server error". T7900 with latest 6.91 firmware. Wifi is strong and stable.

I used to love being able to control the temps from my phone, but with the newest update I have to log in every time I open the app. Please fix this regression in functionality soon. It totally defeats the convenience I used to enjoy before the update. Now I just use the Alexa app. You are quickly going to lose your audience with bad choices like this.

If I could rate this zero stars I would. This is a terrible app. Before updating, which I try to avoid, it kept my login information so that I could check my thermostat remotely with no issues. Since the update it does NOT keep login information. But to make it more annoying when trying to login with my user name and password their site has no decided that I should reset my password, log in again, get another message "password not accepted" and over and over. I give up and will be replacing this device as soon as I return to the property. The whole point of being able to monitor my system remotely is completely voided by this useless app. And, they have absolutely zero phone support

Worked fine for 1 day. Now I can no longer login to my account. Spent hours connecting the Venstar thermostat, setting up the account, and creating schedules in Alexa. Alexa can't talk to it either. Looks like their server (cloud) went down. Wasted my time and money. I will never by a cloud product again. They need to bring the cloud to the user on the homeowners side of the network (LAN).

App actually used to work great BUT if you ever accidentally get offline good luck getting back on line. It's a frustrating experience. Maybe it's just me, I follow instructions, but seems to take me in circles . Why would you take a perfectly fine app, that worked just like it was supposed to and make it useless. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. RENDERED USELESS BY A DEFECTIVE REDONE APP.; that was supposed to fix what wasn't broken ??? Yes I'm MAD. You will be also,I promise you. Should have gave Zro

Used to be a good app, but now just so-so. Doesn't stay logged on indefinitely anymore, which is a real nuisance if you have a strong password to help protect against web hacks. What used to take a moment to pop in and check or set the thermostat now turns into considerably longer to open and log into the password manager, find the account info, copy the password, switch back to the Venstar app, paste and log in. Why make it more tedious?

absolute garbage app... just like everyone is saying... you get randomly logged out CONSTANTLY. then you can't log back in... it tells your to sign in but when you do, you're sent back to the original login page.... over and over. a frustrating loop. not sure if I have to create a new account or what because there's no message or information. clean up your trash, devs!

They say they finally added the ability to ok edit and view the schedule! Woohoo! I'll come to give them five stars if it works. Meanwhile, I'm dropping them from four to three because I'm blocked from using it until I upgrade, but when I attempt to upgrade, it tells me I already have the latest version. I'll uninstall and see if that changes anything, but if not. I'll have to wait for them to fix it... While the app sits useless.

it used to work great.. then an update and now I can't use the app. it just says my thermostat is offline. so frustrating! I depend on this app so much... and now I'm thinking of getting a new different wireless thermostat. I'm fed up with this! 2020 update: Was working again for months after this post. Just the other day 11/25/20 it stopped. Frustrated again. I just now deleted the app to reinstall...I noticed other reviews complaining on the same day the app went out!!

New interface is good, but was hoping for more options (ie all the options seen in the web browser) Also after the update, manual fan control appears to be broken. Update 4/23/19 - manual fan control is still flaky with my T4x series stats...I can not rely on the fan status symbol animation, if I am unsure if the fan is running manually or not, I turn the system to off to ensure the fan is off. I have not found a clean way to manually running the fan from the app, it is not reliable.
