The Academy's penguins are part of the American Zoo and Aquarium Association's Species Survival Program, aimed at conserving this species in the wild. My daughter and I absolutely loved this app and would watch the penguins every single day but for the last week we haven't even been able to open it. It just hangs on the loading screen, left it for 20 mins but still nothing 😔 Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but again the same thing.

Personally, I believe that it is actually quite cool as it has 3 optional views and fully works. The sound doesn't work and I had difficulties finding out the species, but I would say that this is a functional app and I recommend it if your interested in watching Penguins.

Great camera but poor environment. It looks really enclosed... Where is the enrichment? They just waddle back and forth all day waiting for fish. I feel like they could be much happier in a larger, more equipped area.
