Good app as far as it goes. I am building tuned struck instruments. Tuning is a 'B'. Unfortunately the apparent 12Hz bins do not provide sufficient resolution. According to the description in the Pro offering, it only extends the resolution down to 3Hz. No technical description, so no way to tell if you have implemented decimation in the Pro version. Sticking with Spectroid for now.

Does one thing well! I use this with a clip-on microphone (guitar tuning mic thing) to monitor the health of high-speed motors. The waterfall and the FFT are really handy for spotting harmonics that shouldn't be present in my pumps so I can take care of maintenance long before anything breaks. Also great for looking at bird calls to help identify them by sight...if you know what the spectrogram of the call looks like...but you can learn that while playing with this app!

Something is very wrong I plugged in a mic but no sound so you lied about that. I've clicked on every sample rate and nothing I turned up the volume on my phone and still no sound, so if there's supposed to be sound then I do I accomplish that because I'm getting nothing so I'll I'm doing is just saying what my phone is doing, I see the spikes just no sound so how do I get it

I would really like to see a pink noise calibration or something similar so I can be sure what my phone mic is picking up. Other than that, really great app so far! Also looks like it hasn't been updated in almost 2 years...

I like it but it would be extremely helpful if you could run analysis on both the audio file going to the speakers and what the microphone is picking up at the same time. On the computer you can switch back and forth but on andriod it can only seem to do microphone.

I got this app to tune my 3D printer FEP. It was perfect right out the gate. It gave me the frequency values right there on the sound curve without needing to do any setup. You might consider publicizing this app on 3D printer communities if you haven't already.

The app is really fun but I'm giving it three stars because I'm disappointed about not being able to record sound when I use my screen recorder. The app will not allow screen recorders to record the audio along with the visual.

would be even better if there was a 'zero' button that let's you make the noise floor not part of the visulization
