IBDoc® is an in vitro diagnostic immunoassay for the quantitative determination of fecal calprotectin in human stool. It is intended as an aid to the assessment of inflammation of the intestinal mucosa for inflammatory bowel disease (e.g. Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis) monitoring. As part of the IBDoc® calprotectin home test, CalApp® allows measuring the calprotectin concentration in a stool sample using a smartphone. The app contains an easy to understand tutorial explaining the test procedure step by step from the collection of the stool sample to sample extraction and loading of the pregnancy test-like test cassette. Once the test cassette is prepared, the CalApp® controls the mobile device camera to take a picture of the test cassette. The optical signal of the test is analyzed with the help of a specific barcode on the test cassette. The signal is translated into a result that indicates the calprotectin concentration in the stool sample. The test information is managed on the smartphone itself and at the same time transmitted via a secure and encrypted connection to the IBDoc® Portal. The test results and connected patient information are stored securely on the IBDoc® Portal and can only be accessed by both the patient and his responsible healthcare practitioner. All instructions printed . No where it says to scan camera test scan card . All pf a sudden you see video and camera test is done first. Please add in the notes. Also app does not have way to cut timer off in case a few minutes has passed already. Timer should be able to stop and jump to scan results or edit timer to match whats already passed

Used once worked as per instructions. Second time the timer would not appear could not start timer manually with button, instead got taken to test picture screen which would not work as well. This app is junk. You would expect a large company trying to download costs and labour onto the customer could make sure the solid. Update, was notified that there was a glitch with the software the camera test did not appear at the correct time. Developer got same problem and is suppose to fix.

Waste of time, followed all the instructions to the letter, watched video instructions multiple times and it would never line up nor scan the cassette, despite the test cassette scan being successful. So frustrating. Threw it all out, will just back to the tried, tested and working specimen collection. I work in IT as well so not a user issue, all app.

Unable to login and access to Android app. Grrrr. I have a Samsung A8. I can access the IBDoc webpage but no support how to access the app. I installed the app but error report repeatedly says im not connected. Access to internet and the Play Store are working. Several hours waisted Oct 3, 2019 all is good. Very good in fact. The support team (Lealie and Milva) were persistant and resolved ALL tech issues. Amazing support great product. Highly recommend this company's product and services LF

After the most recent update, i calibrate the camera but get logged iut immediately after calibration. I cannot get to the timer and test screens.

It's all worked exactly how the instructions said and exactly how the video showed. All up until the last stage I did not the results on my phone like it's said I would so I don't know if the results saved and sent to my surgeon ???? I may have just handled my poo for no reason 😂🤣👍

Update, says my SM-G998B (S21 Ultra) isn't compatible, please could you verify/add this model? Worked well, simple instructions and easy to do. I've also sent off a sample (from the same specimen) to pathology, so I'll be able to directly compare the results (I'll update here when these arrive)

Updated to a new phone and now the app says that my phone is unsupported. What do I do? I need to test the sample today. My nurse is off today so I can't get help there
