I've always enjoyed the Blynk legacy app. It's intuitive and feature rich. I use it for teaching a college class on internet of things and students loved it too. Too bad that in an effort to transition to the new IoT app the user registration is closed. But the Bylnk server code is still available by searching online so I can host a custom Blynk server myself. I hope the developer will keep this app and please do not remove it from the app store. Everyone loves this app!

UPDATE: I just figured out that deleting all data and logging in restores connectivity. I hope this helps others. ORIGINAL MESSAGE: Can't connect to server, I get this a lot now. Is this your way to force people off the legacy version? I WILL NOT MOVE TO THE NEW VERSION IF THINGS STAY LIKE THIS. I paid for this and like it just the way it is.

This app is phenomenal. It's easy to use, works flawlessly, and saves a ton of time when trying to implement IoT solutions. People complaining about the energy purchases have no appreciation for the level of work that goes into building something like this, or the costs associated with maintaining the servers. A user that has only one active application can likely implement without any costs at all. The libraries and tutorials provided are well coded and thought out as well.

I love the idea of this app. I'm not super happy about having to "buy more energy" to use more than a few resources though, but its acceptable. What is NOT acceptable is having to spend that energy to use the home screen widgets AND never getting that energy back after removing the widgets!! Either remove the energy requirements for using the widgets or make sure the energy is refunded in full after removing a widget. Non-refundable energy for the "Sharing" feature is fine, but NOT for widgets.

I don't understand how I haven't heard of this app until now!! It is incredible! Extremely well put together, packed full of features and not extremely expensive to do some pretty cool things!! 10/10

Great App, but i really hope they can open more Demo's , Even if it is for a limited time ... i really need to see more of what Blynk offers.. Last please hurry up with the Web Dashboard... Cant wait to try it out.

This is by far the best app for kids to break into programming. All I had to do is load the board with the script and give the kids a breadboard and a bunch of different inputs and outputs and they had a blast.

best bet for instant IOT projects! works with most boards available. You really can be up and running in 5 min, download code with your wifi to board and start blinkenlights!

In app purchases for development and use? What a racquet! You have to pay for each element you use. How are you able to develop and test without paying for each item?

This is a great app . Takes some digging to find out how to use it. Lots of things it will do but lacks alot instructions. Still like more than others.
