Four months after the launch of Pixel 4 the "Login via app" is still not working. I got an explanation from the PostFinance Mobile authors stating: "we will support facial recognition on Android devices as soon as it comes with a comparable level of security to “Face ID” on Apple devices. However, according to tests and renowned security specialists, this is unfortunately not the case at present." (I got this explanation as a response to my previous review that consisted only from the first sentence from this review, and is now replaced with this.) I wonder where this report from renowned security specialists is? Could you please share it. If it's trustworthy I will upgrade this rating since otherwise I really like this app. But for now I will keep it at 1 star.

Nice look but missing functionality from the previous version. It would be great to be able to rearrange the different accounts. Also I miss seening the final balance in the pending order view. Currently, only the beginning balance is shown. This is very helpful to manage the money flow.

When the major redesign of the app first launched, it was full of bugs, glitches and random crashes. But now everything works really well and the design looks sleak and modern. I am really pleased with it. Although it is still missing some functionalities, it is perfectly usable for on the go use. Payment via NFC also works really well and is a welcome addition.

Very bad "out of box" experience - would not even load as far as being able to display an erro message. Whovever was contracted to write this software should be fired on the stop and PostFinance reimbursed - absolutelly appealing. Uptated Nov 21: still very buggy, with some use cases clearly not thought out and all in all very much showing an utter lack of professionalism by whoever is managing this app. Poor poor poor showing
V. Mongoliensis
The scan function has not worked properly for months! Please fix it. The only things I can scan are online orange slips otherwise you have to aim the camera just right and have the exact right lighting for the scan to work! It's quicker to just give in the details manually. FIX. IT. Edit: Deleting the cache for the app and my camera didn't work. The issue remains exactly the same, as will my rating of the app.

The app seems to have a few bugs. At login, after entering the user number and password the device PIN is requested, Here very often you get stuck in a loop, where the device PIN is requested multiple times and on the 3rd correct entry, the error code 1491 is shown. Perhaps there is a timeout i.e. you have to complete the whole operation within 1 second or less?? The same happens on using the app to confirm logon in the PostFinance Browser. Usually after trying 3 time or more, it works.

I recently got an issue and can't no longer use the app! it just shows me "Oops!The login procedure has been interrupted.Please try again" can you fix that thanks in advance Edit: I ordered a QR code per Post and it did the job without issue well ✔ 👍

Update: from 1 star to 3 stars. the app got better, after worst e. Banking I used, Still need alot of enhancements but got better The app is horrible full of bugs, many times E_trading not working and always loading however the other functionality working fine. Fingerprints screen always shown even after the sweep, and have to press cancel.... And many more

The UX and UI are a total disaster. The look and feel aspect is non existent 😑 prefer the older version. Update: now after months of usage, I still didn't get used to it and it is still irritating. "Why make simple if we can make complicated?" Is exactly how you designed it.

Clearly more reliable than before, but still certain features missing, such as payment templates. I'm looking forward to seeing more improvements. @devs: there are certain templates I'm using maybe once a year (e.g a yearly subscription). Showing just the recent payments isn't helpful for me.
