Raiffeisen E-Banking - simple, fast, secure! Raiffeisen PhotoTAN is an innovative security tool for login and order approval in Raiffeisen e-banking. It can be used instead of the SMS-TAN. Raiffeisen E-Banking customers can activate Raiffeisen PhotoTAN in E-Banking (“Contract number”> “Settings”> “Security”> “Login method”). Instructions can also be found there. Functionality: With this procedure, Raiffeisen E-Banking encodes the login and order data in a colored mosaic. The colored mosaic is then photographed from the screen using the camera integrated in your smartphone. The data contained in the mosaic and the associated release code are decrypted and displayed on the smartphone by this app. By activating the PhotoTAN app once with a personal key mosaic, the mosaic displayed on the screen can only be decrypted using your smartphone. If you use Raiffeisen Mobile Banking, the PhotoTAN app reads the code in the background on the same device and automatically returns it to Mobile Banking. There is no need to enter the additional code manually. Your smartphone does not need an internet or telephone connection for this procedure. Crashes on Android. Was simple and good when it worked. The recommendation to send a screenshot is, well, not very practical as the app disalows screenshots :-) ... Issue: Camera shows color matrix, then stops with unknown error. Android 9.0.6 on OnePlus 3T .... 27.Mai... immernoch defekt...

Since the last two or three updates scanning is a pain. It takes ages for a valid scan. The app seems to have basic problems with HDPI monitors.

App has worked well for me in the past. Updating to Android 12 broke it for me. Switching to PhotoTan after login still works but I get an infinite loading screen

Used it since years with my smartphone with no problems, but since 3-4 months it does not scan well and I have to use the Phototan unit instead. Hence this de-install & re-install to hopefully fix it.

Minimalistic, easy to use, but also inconvenient. Verification code must be typed manually. No additional security by finger print.

The previous system with a little card was more convenient and safer, since I could hide the card, while I might loose my phone everywhere. They say it is safer, but cannot explain why. Locking my phone is not an option I can consider.

newest update removed the tan-icon and replaced it with e-banking. where is my tan-scanner now? (i still can open the app through google playstore, just the icon has completely disappeared)

very useful app. not working on my nokia 5 with android 9 anymore. i don't need the ebanking app. what do i have to do, will there be an upgrade? edit: it was my android problem. just keep scrolling :-)
