It's fun for a few days, but there's not enough content to hold my attention, especially when the game expects you to return every few hours.

    The Pathless Path

Well, you need souls to buy food and keep your minion dudes alive. Sounds like what would be an assumed game mechanic but you get so little souls that the game quickly becomes unplayable. To earn souls you have to play games, which injures your minions. Plus your Cthulu will eat followers and that costs souls. I've been playing a while and I've got plenty of stuff unlocked but all I can do is look at it because I can't afford any of it...

As fun as the first one. My only gripe is that it bugs out and won't let me click the UFO to watch the short ad for the coins :C Not sure how I'll get some once I'm out of achievements.

While fun and an awesome throwback to the day of virtual pets, the app becomes tedious after a few days of playing it. Cthulhu's needs deplete too quickly; good luck if you ever want to sleep more than 8 hours. The mini games were fun, but the cost of food made the need to play them a bit too routine. Finally, there is no mechanism to get all outfits without paying, and that is unfortunate.

Amazing free to play platform experience. Lots of skill in this game, video ads are almost completely optional, can be played strategically as a mechanic, and an extremely fun and addicting gameplay cycle. My only problem is a bug in the game. Followers have character levels that get used in the card minigame. No matter what I do or try, they will be reset back to 1 at random, defeating the purpose of any growth or grinding. More visual information on their levels is needed. Exp bar.

The graphics are better. It's very colourful, but if you prefer the all green look of the original there's an option to Chang it back. You can interact with cthulhu more and he has A lot more feeding options. The mini games are way more fun. This is a better game then the first in every way except 1. There's a new stat that makes it that your cthulhu has to do bad things. I don't like playing the bad guy so this isn't the game for me, but if that isn't a turn off for you then I'd recommend this

It's cute, but I'm annoyed at a few small things, such as the mini games. I don't particularly find them that enjoyable, which is fine, but what really bothers me is the fact that I haven't found a possible way to play them without needing to spend 100 souls on a witness. Making the reward system of the mini game really low, since you have to get at least 100 souls to not have a loss in souls. Also, I would love to be able to sleep without him eating a witness so quickly.

I love it! The art style is charming and the gameplay is simple but still engaging! The only big critique I have is that Cthulhu is a little too needy, lol! Sometimes it feels like I can just casually check in like I would with a tamogatchi, but other times I feel like I can't play, because I'll have to set aside time to play minigames so I can feed him. I wish there was a little more balance between these two, so I could check in on him quickly and efficiently every time!

Ok. I had to take a star away. I love this game but it's been the same thing forever and no update in sight. If you unlocked everything by now, it's just gonna be taking up memory on your phone. It's still got the same 3 mini games. The only updates we've gotten is a hat or glasses here and there but that's it. The first Cthulhu Pet game had more mini games. I don't understand why they don't just transfer those over to this one or something. This game hasn't gotten a real update in forever...

Hey guys, I had to uninstall because this game isn't for me. Although it's a VERY good concept and I hope the devs continue progress, for now it's just not gripping me. I had a lot of fun at first taking care of my world-ending tamagotchi and playing mini games to collect souls but got repetitive quickly with little else to do. I just looked at my phone a second before this review and my baby ate 3 worshippers! How dare he! Anyway, I'll check back later. Great concept!
