There is a game breaking bug within the game. If you switch between research parts and customize ship, you can stack as many parts as you want wherever. I stacked 30+ boosts and 30+ engines and started making over $1m/game by the time I got a 5x5 ship hull.

Simple, fun and very addictive. However it has the feel of a beta, not a full fledged game. After a few hours I'm maxed out on equipment and there is even a maximum depth that I reach every time. First off, there should not be a bottom or max depth..ever.. I don't understand why it exists. It further detracts from the already limited longevity of the game. Once you have all the parts bought and upgraded you could still have some form of challenge by trying to improve on your best drill depth. I see this game with some kind of basic story, nothing fancy, maybe saving your dying world by some kind of resource gathering and crafting quests, requiring travel to specific areas or planets to collect various materials and components. Allowing for a variety of different levels, terrain types, and the materials within them, lava, ice, diamond, etc.. Levels that require certain drill parts to travel effectively, allowing for a greatly expanded variety of ship parts. I'd also like to need to gather certain materials from levels to build specific upgrade parts, not just gold used for everything. Different hull designs, wide, long, etc.. Maybe even a gas pedal button to control speed and fuel usage to further enhance player interaction and strategy. Add some form of reset or prestige system to add replay value, online stat tracking and leaderboards, and you've got yourself a great game. =)

I love these kinds of drilling games. This one is beatable in a sitting or two and the progression feels pretty good up to a point. If it ever gets updated with new content, I'll likely pick it back up for another go. Overall I don't feel like I wasted my time on it, which is the biggest metric I use to determine whether or not a game was "good". There were areas that could be improved upon, though, such as animations for moving parts, upgrade pacing, hazard spacing, length of the game in general and possibly storytelling, but those are somewhat inconsequential for a grinding upgrader game. Not having those doesn't ruin the game for what it already is, but would only improve the overall experience.

This Review Contains Minor Spoilers... Great game, lacks some other content like more levels, more minerals, and more equipment. Very little ads. One thing that is bothering me is when you win it says "You're Winner". Grammar doesn't really work with that. I suggest it says something like "You Won". Otherwise, great job on this game. Very nice little game. However, it is lacking in content at the moment. I beat it in about an hour. It would be great if there were many more levels of equipment to save up for, a deeper and/or harder ground to dig, or even a prestige system. Developers, if you are reading this, know that you have a fan here who is eagerly awaiting improvements to Overkill Drill! Great job!

I like the game a lot I just honestly wish there was more to do. I downloaded the game yesterday and already beat it. Its fairly easy to get the parts and upgrade them but once you hit the last tier of every part it's just too easy. I literally didnt move my ship at all and boosted the whole way to the core in like 20 seconds. After you beat it, it's not fulfilling enough because there is nothing after that. I'm sure later they will add more things to the game and just on the hope of that I'll keep the game downloaded.

Simple mixed with complex.... almost no ads You made a simple concept complex with all the upgrades. Only thing I wish is if there is more maps and even more upgrades. But the game does what was promised in all the game info and screenshots and brought back a game I havent played in 10 years. Gameplay 10/10 Graphics 8/10 Controls 10/10 Again only thing needed is more maps and upgrades for those maps

Really wish there wasn't a bottom, once you reach the end the max you can make per run is about $15 million including the 3x boost, that may sound like a lot if you haven't played but the final upgrades are $100 million and higher, so because you can't continue progressing that means it'd take about 40 runs of doi g the exact same thing over and over to max everything out. I also was able to upgrade everything to tier 5 within 3-4 hours, fast progression is nice, but not with 6-7 total tiers.

Great game, it can really make you feel powerful and more successful with each new drill you get.it will make you want to play much more. it doesn't deserve the 4 stars for I think it deserves 5.

Great time killer. Upgrading is not a huge grind. Wish there was more upgrades and the depth wasn't too short. Other than that this game is amazing.
