HAMPSHIRE REAL TIME INFORMATION The Hants RTI travel application for Android provides Hampshire passengers with direct access to real time bus information. The application includes: · Real time bus location: Displays a map with bus stops, and shows the real time locations of buses · Real time route map: Displays service routes on the map · Nearby stops and services: Gives access to bus stop and service information related to a location. The location is either set automatically (detected by GPS) or specified on the map by a Drop Pin · Bus operator: Displays the operator name, service and destination for the selected bus · Detailed journey information: Provides full information about a journey, including where the service stops, the distance of stops from your current location, bus due time, predicted departure time and scheduled departure time.

Good idea but in practice it doesn't really work. Nowhere near all buses are shown on the real time map. Not clear whether only some routes/companies are included. When there are multiple buses in the area it's impossible to follow one particular bus. Would like to filter out buses I'm not interested in. But I'm guessing developers aren't planning on updating this app. Also curious as to whether Hampshire County Council were part of the development of this or not.

Awful ui design and clunky flow. Haven't used it to check actual live bus times but the layout and look of the app is enough for me to know it earned the 2.7 rating it currently has. I'll just stick with assuming every bus I catch is going to be 10 minutes late, it's worked out pretty well so far.

Bus route from Lee to Primate Road (hurdles) is X5. Search on X5 lists the stop. Tap on stop and it says no service?? Unlikely

February 2016 Stopped working Very useful times seem correct, mileage to bus stops 100 miles wrong another problem the bus company is not listed against the number so if you have a pass for particular company this app of little help.

GPS location puts my locatio n as Cambridge when Im in Southampton this app used to fine. Shame as I did like it.
