Used to work before but now whenever i connect to the device via usb it only mirrors for 1 sec then it freezes. Yes i tried to change the usb cable multiple times and yes i did reset my tabletas well as the dongle by pressing the button in the back for 5 seconds. It did not work. The reply to this review just proves that they are not reading what is written.

When I first bought my EZCast Wire device, it worked very well. But every time that I have updated this app or the device's firmware, it has gotten a little worse (I have been using the same phone the entire time, and that phone has had no updates). Now, EZCast takes multiple attempts even to connect, and then it always drops out when I switch to the app I want to cast, and sometimes even while I'm still in the EZCast app. Now it wants to put ads in my notifications? Forget it.

In many ways this product is superior to the Microsoft Adapter, as it supports higher frame rates and some Apple hardware, which Microsoft doesn't. Also there is some flexibility as to whether the sound gets mirrored. But make sure you get the RIGHT EZCast product, which is their top of the line product. Plus I do not recommend EZCast for travellers, as it is unable to work by Wifi Direct, so is usable only on trusted home wifi. So the Microsoft product is a more secure product for travel.

So for some reason I can't get the picture to show when on Netflix now. No problems before. I'm not using this app anymore. Was the only reason I downloaded this app.
