Great simple player without ads. I listen to audiobooks and this player drains much less battery than many other apps (ad based players not only annoy you with ads, but also use geometrics and sensors and internet to target you "better"). So 1 hour of listening with another popular app drained around 15% of my battery, whilst aimp drains less than 5%. Also I see no drainage when it doesn't play audio, which is not the case with others. 5 stars. Btw oldschool design is great!

I have been using this app for sometime and what I love about it, it has extra volume unlike any other typical music player... But all of a sudden when the phone turns off its back light it stops its self when music is playing and when I turn on the back back-light it resumes playing on my Huawei Y5 lite... Disappointed by the behaviour it is doing now

I have been using this for a while but sometimes still have trouble with 2 things. 1-importing files from my PC, because it only allows me to select the entire parent folder & not open it to select a subfolder. 2-I can't always set a playlist to shuffle! Otherwise, it's very good.

I had a heap of audio in WMV format which used to play on my aging S7 but would not play on my S21 phone (Android 11). I searched for an alternative to Samsung's app and this one was well reported, so I tried it. Forget the naysayers - they can't or didn't read the description and if they did, they didn't understand it. This is a great app. I like the way it organises its playlist - very logical. I would have liked this app to be able play WMV - I was hoping it would, but none of the others I looked at did either. So I had to convert about 500 files, but now I've done that, it's all good. This app is worth paying for - I don't understand why it's free with no ads. What a welcome change. Congratulations to the developer.

Okay the dev is awesome. Five stars. Had problems adding files, he helped me. (Must be added to playlist manually.) Didn't like how songs faded, he helped me. (Sound settings -> Cross-fade toggle.) Easy five stars. Would give six if I could due to sweet active dev helping a knucklehead like me. :)

Very very nice app 31 band equalizer that's amazing Whiteout add I have 2 problems First is file ordering (in any case files sorted by folder) Second is themes (some themes doesn't have add files) In the end it needs spectrum or frequency analyser to be complete. Thanks a lot to developers.

Everything's perfect except the fact that the next track doesn't play automatically after the previous one ended, it's really inconvenient , still the app is perfect , the best of all so far z except this issue .

So I think I've found a bug or something, done of my songs are unplayable. What I mean is that they make a weird audio noise them skip to the next song. Idk why but at least most of my songs work. Great app otherwise and solves the pixel issue of no music services. I'd rate 5 Stars if the bug was fixed, some of those songs are sentimental and I'd love to hear em on my phone. EDIT: Found the issue those sounds are m4a files, app says they should work but they don't for some reason.

Absolutely amazing app could not be happier with it, my friend used it on his pc so I downloaded it on mine and my laptop and then i found out it was an app aswell and I was over the moon. Thank you for this amazing app. One petty complaint tho, please let me put emojis on the names of my playlists hahaha. Thanks again for this app π―β€

I love the app. It's simple yet efficient. The only problem i think is the lack of tabs for artists, albums, etc. but i think that's fine, you just need to add each somg manually
