IGCdroid now works very well for me, with the latest version of the app, and with my phone's battery saver mode turned off and a firewall app installed to block other mobile data usage. It reliably generates an IGC log file that is essentially identical to that independently produced by Tophat on another device. And live tracking via Glideport works as well as the cellphone tower system allows, which is pretty good in most areas around here. Getting the log file via email to myself is also very handy.

App works pretty terribly. The igc files it creates are unusable and phone coverage is to spotty go work well as a tracker. I wasted $10 don't waste your money. Use XCSoar for igc tracking and a spot for live tracking.

Works very well depending on cell phone reception. Great for fun flying and OLC logging. Gives a very dense trace with altitude for following with the SSA Sailplane Tracker
