Halo is a new approach to improving your health—a membership that provides you with innovative tools, personalized data and insights, and an ever-growing library of premium content designed to help you build healthier habits for life.

This app requires a Halo device.

Key features:
DISCOVER
• Explore an ever-growing library of premium and on-demand workouts, daily meditations, as well as nutrition and sleep support.

• Simple, measurable programs help you see the impact that small changes can make on how feel–like whether meditating improves your focus, or if a pet-free bedroom improves your sleep quality.

ACTIVITY
• Informed by guidelines from the American Heart Association, Halo measures the intensity of your activity in addition to tracking steps and sedentary time. This means that working harder—like taking two stairs at a time, or going for a jog—helps you reach your weekly goals faster.

SLEEP
• Analyze your sleep patterns, like how long it takes you to fall asleep, how much you wake up at night, and how long you spend in each sleep stage.

NUTRITION
• Get a tailored weekly menu that can be synced with your Halo app grocery list, your Alexa shopping list, or the Whole Foods app to make meal prep even easier.
• Add recipe ingredients or standalone items to your grocery list anytime.
• Browse and get inspiration with hundreds of nutritious recipes.

MOVEMENT
• Halo uses your smartphone’s camera to accurately measure your mobility, stability, and posture, and then provides a custom set of corrective exercises to help you improve over time.

BODY COMPOSITION
 • Halo's Body feature is nearly twice as accurate as leading at-home smart scales.
 • Body uses your smartphone’s camera to determine your body fat percentage, which is a better indicator of health than weight or BMI alone.
 • A personalized 3D model helps you track changes.

CONTROL AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
 • Get phone call and text notifications, start live workouts, and get move reminders right from your wrist with Halo View fitness tracker (sold separately).

TONE OF VOICE ANALYSIS
 • Halo analyzes the positivity and energy of your voice to help you learn how you may sound to others.

It's good for keeping track of steps and weight. However, it doesn't really help you create a plan to gain muscle or lose fat. It's just a simple tool that has great workouts, but no real way of showing you the specifics on how to achieve your desired weight or body composition. Still recommend it.

Fix the app pairing! I got a new phone it was paired to my old phone but I need it to pair to my new phone! Blinking 🤍 lights do nothing! No purple 💜 blinking light is happening I been try for rt min!

Ridiculous! The app prompted me to update it which I should have dismissed. Now I can't pair my Halo device and the app so having the device has proven to be useless and a waste of money. Great! 🚮

Reliable, acurate and motivating. Great battery life. Very fast charging. The band is comfortable on the wrist. It is detachable for cleaning and matching with your outfit for the day if you buy them in multiple colors. Downsides includes no screen or display on the device. Ties you to the phone app to check your scores. No integration with non-amazon bio-metric sensors.

Great for monitoring steps and movement. The sleep monitor is variable. It often misses my first hour or two of sleep, despite following all of the troubleshooting recommendations--this is more likely to happen when I'm sleeping on my side (and no, I am not sleeping on the band). I really dislike that if I check out one of the suggested labs, I can't seem to find a way for it to stop reminding me to do the suggestion.

The Tone feature isn't as good as dispayed in the promos. There's no way to turn off all of the advertisements for recipes and exercises that can be found elsewhere on the web. When opening the app I'd just like to see my stats instantly (like fitbit) but I have to hunt for them due to all of the suggestions for meals to eat and exercises to do. Being a premium member should give the ability to modify what's displayed on the home screen, a non-premium member should get the ads. I'm disappointed.

Update: Halo has a few gimmicks with an $8/mo subscription, but borderline useless without it. Save your time and your money - it's not worth it! Original: Halo has a lot of potential, but seems in no way ready for public release. I have encountered multiple issues where my voice profile locks up and requires wiping/resetting. My sleep metrics suddenly stopped working a few nights ago and I have been trying troubleshooting and different configurations over the past few nights with no success.

When you first start using it, it seems great. Eventually, you figure out that as a fitness tracker it's extremely limited, especially compared to other trackers at the same price point. The features that are supposed to set the Halo out from the competition (body composition, tone, etc.) are extremely inaccurate. Once your free subscription period runs out and they start charging you monthly you realize that the subscription isn't even worth the $3.99 monthly cost.

I am loving the new features! I can save labs, start a workout before I do it instead of logging after, and find the way it's organized now easier to use. The only thing I want right now is the ability to have a lab not track fails if I choose not to. Just because I sometimes try a lab, fail and then try again and do better. I don't like to have it listed multiple times as fail. I would rather it fail once and then show me a record when I click on it. Like, 2 days 1st try, 4 days 2nd try, etc.

Unusable. Unhappy. No authentication or customer support. Our halo is less than a year old. It started giving me sleep data that didn't seem right so I reset the band and removed / reinstalled the app. I keep getting "enter the authentication code we sent you" but there is no code in email or sms text. I am frustrated. I got one customer support phone call. After that nothing. I won't be buying a new one knowing that this can happen so soon after purchase. A great tool if it works.
