Constant "Something went wrong" errors. Unable to find trains for tickets and forced to go to website. Even trying to do a pre-trip check for covid tends to not pull anything resulting in the need to restart the entire app after forcing it closed. Would be nice to see multi trip selection for commuters with monthly tickets. The app does prevent the need to print a ticket but that's about the only useful portion that is working.

Keeps saying my login has expired, but I can't sign out and then sign back in. Then I get to the purchase page and the "login has expired" error note keeps popping up, so I can't finished the purchase. Also, the app no longer allows my phone's "back" button to go back a page. Instead, it exits the app. Super annoying.

Badly laid out. On Tuesday it would have my trip on the home page. Now my return trip is just after midnight and I can't fins it anywhere in the App. I don't have the reservation number. It's as if my return reservation has disappeared. The train won't even stop at this "unmanned station" and there's no one I can talk to.

The app is pretty good but some features need improvement. It's not possible to add trips from the multi ride pass to a calendar automatically. It's also annoying that the back button from the phone exits the app. Otherwise it's pretty smooth for scheduling etc.

App is trash, it no longer shows me all my upcoming trips. When I look it up by reservation number is errors out. So annoying, fix this.

App is good for keeping track of multiple trips but only when it works. Everytime I bought round trip tickets it would delete my return trip without fail right after the first trip takes place. Forcing me to look for tickets in my email. Almost better to buy tickets as single rides to make the most of the apps limited tracking abilities.

It's weird and doesn't give me current trip status right away. I had to kerp pressing each page to find my reservation.

Pretty sure no UX person was involved in the making of this horrible app that messes up all the time. It works (sometimes) for scanning tickets so I won't give it 1 star. I'd be embarrassed to have this app in a portfolio, though I would say the same about the Amtrak website as well.

There has been several occasions, it just 2 minutes ago, where the app comes back at me telling me my card was declined. I go through the process to enter a new card for payment and it goes through. The catch is...the card info I entered is the same one that was declined. It would be nice if Amtrak would actually address this issue and perhaps reach out to me.

Does its job, mostly use it for booking and to hold tickets. If you take the Amtrak a lot, then it is worth trying out.
