Is no longer switching to portrait mode (Samsung S20). Has always switched ok before on all phones however pretty useless unless I can find out why it is stuck in landscape. Was fine a week or two ago then when I went back to my book.... no more portrait mode.

I used to love this app. After last update I can't get the app to recognize my SD card, much less locate it, so I can add new books. I'm going to have to find a new app.

Until last week I would have rated this as a 5 star. I've been using it for years. A couple weeks ago the brightness settings started acting funny. Not too big a deal. But today it suddenly stopped letting me change colors. White background, even on the lowest brightness, is very jarring in a dark room when you're reading while winding down for bed. It was the whole reason I chose this app. Yes I reinstalled. And now it seems they're dropping support on this for their new subscription version.

This worked great on my Kindle tablet but is a nightmare on my Samsung Galaxy S7. I am sorry I paid for it. It crashes constantly and there is no way to fix the brightness. I bought it because of the text to speech but there has to be something better out there. Also, putting the books into collections is the most tedious, counter-intuitive process imaginable. I am so disappointed in the product! I think I am going to delete it and start over with some other product. You can tell they are not supporting it; their website is mostly dead links and their help desk is gone. What a waste.

I was highly disappointed when right after buying premium, just before being made into the "Classic" version, Feedbooks releases a new version instead of showing any respect to the people who bought their product and updating the old product with the new code like many other App makers out there. But that's kinda the way of software companies. But it doesn't make me feel any less cheated. As for the rating, that is actually about the software itself and not the companies practices. The program works as described except at times the program will crash either when exiting a book or when trying to use the text to speech reading function. It really makes picking up where I left off quite an irritation.

I bought this several years ago, and I still think that it is the best epub reader for me (not so hot for PDF). One issue that I am frustrated with is syncing reading position between devices. Aldiko has been promising this feature for years, but no dice. In a long ago previous release, I could use a third party app to sync. However, this app no longer works, due to changes that Aldiko made. Come on, Aldiko, give us the long promised syncing capability.

Update... Using system brightness works fine. Overall, very happy BUT what's next for Aldiko? I paid more for this app than any other - it is expensive! BUT, I continually have to re-install it to make the screen brightness work. Very annoying as this feature is important to me. I read a lot at night in the dark. I have emailed the developers twice about this issue but they are obviously too busy or can't be bothered to respond.

I started using this app on a moto g5s plus phone with Oreo. When turning pages, I see a lag. Also, while deleting a collection, I get the message, Aldiko premium has stopped. How can I resolve these issues? I was hoping for a response from Aldiko developers to resolve my issues. There has been no response from them regarding my issues. Please refund my money.

This app has been fabulous, until recently... My epub files are not loading into Aldiko properly for some reason. They're fine on my computer but new chapters will have whole paragraphs cut off at the beginning. Images are not loading properly either and when I change the margins or font or text size, Aldiko will crash. Please fix this!
