Like all it's previous versions, the latest incarnation does nothing but crash and stop. Absolutely useless. The crashing happens on multiple devices, my phone, my tablet. It just doesn't work. Doesn't anybody review your code or do any testing before you release it?

Almost everytime I start reading a story the app closes itself within a minute. Why am I paying $ 100.00 a year for subscriber content if I can't finish a news article ?

This newer version is awful. It's slow and is always freezing up or jumping to a different story. I'm an ex-Clevelander and really want to stay in touch but this is really testing my patience!

The app wirks decently if you want to read the stories on the gone page. However, if you want to find an article that doesn't show on the main page, the search tool doesn't work. If you go to the local section and choose a community page you've already visited, the stories are often out of date. For example, today the newest story on the Shaker Heights page is from March 1. You are also missing some communities such as Pepper Pike.

App has been a great go to source for Brown's , a step above of the Brown's own website, and posted 5 star satisfaction in 2019. Today I post extremely dissatisfied as most articles and media casts are teases and not availble unless you have a subscription. It feels like desperate extortion. Deleted App, who cares..Go Brown's.

This is a step backwards since the update! The font is way too small and not size adjustable and the layout looks much less professional without the quick view slides. I frequently visited the old style but I can't stand using it now. Please fix it!

Welp! Nothing good last forever. Pretty soon the Plain Dealer will be obsolete & so will this app. Because nobody will want to pay to read certain articles. Besides that, the update & new format looks good but it does have less articles.

There is ways something wrong with the app like not being able to load full articles to now, not being able to read articles because of graphics. Words are overlaying each other and the back color is black with different font colors.

Just deleted this app. It started sending notifications that cant be turned off. You can choose some notifications, but not *important* ones. I've received several in the last couple of days that are far from important. Ridiculous

The latest update is the worst yet. Some articles cause the app to crash, others make my phone freeze. My phone also runs really hot when the app is running and I can watch the battery percentage drop. A joke.
