Terrible. I've had it for 2m now... It pops with notifications but when you click them it doesn't even open the story. It doesn't even keep you logged in. Straight. Garbage. Cancelling my subscription purely because of the app

  2. Elijah Triche-avatar

    Elijah Triche

10/31/21: Moto G4+ | Had to block all notifications since it doesn't give the option to disable push notifications and it keeps giving me headlines I never asked for multiple times a day.

  3. Mae Price-avatar

    Mae Price

I'm a subscriber but can never get in to read stories. Tried logging in with each possible choice given, even my account number. Doesn't help that my Sunday home delivery paper is hit & miss! Probably end up canceling all together. Not worth the frustration!

  4. Jim Bucks-avatar

Does not appear to be a way to disable push notifications or the pop up ads when trying to read a story. And yes, I'm a paid subscriber. One would reasonably have the expectation the pop up ads would go away / not be happening once a subscription has been purchased. One would be wrong in the case of this application, the ads just keep coming (with more apparent frequency once you start to use it). Very, very disappointing. I'll NOT be renewing my subscription at the end of it's current term.

  5. Brendan Bassett-avatar

Paragraphs cut out after a certain number of characters so articles are incomplete to the point of being unreadable at times. The app crashes all the time forcing me to log in repeatedly. The interface is basic and makes it hard to pick through to find the good stuff. The lack of a search function is a glaring issue too. I got this subscription in order to support local news, but the app just isn't functional enough to be usable.

  6. Frannie Monasterio-avatar

App sometimes gets stuck in loading when i launch. Suggested stories are sometimes the same story twice, in succession, in the same section. app also feels sluggish when it finally does load. There's no place to log in. i dont understand why your app is called "The Denver Post" and not just "Denver Post" i sort my apps alphabetically so the app gets sorted with the t's. I want to support local journalism but your app makes it hard to want to continue.

  7. Natalie Tsantes-avatar

The app does not show full articles, requiring me to visit the web page. The web page will not allow me to sign in, it simply tells me "Redirecting" for eternity. It is ridiculous I cannot just read the full article where I am logged in on the app. What even is the point of the app. Giving 2 stars because the Denver Post is still worth supporting even though their app is useless.

Constant notifications about Denver sports teams. No way to turn off! Actually, constant notifications about the damnest things... PLEASE make a setting to stop notifications! Also, no way to search for an article found in the print edition so it can be sent to a friend. Every 2-3 weeks I get booted off, even though I have an ANNUAL print subscription! So annoying!!!11/20-- Still annoying to be required to sign in again about every 2-3 weeks. I have an annual, paid print subscription since 1982.

  9. EARTH QUAKE-avatar

    EARTH QUAKE

The reason I subscribed is, you had the fastest updates on the virus, and not only that, you had the info posted 9 hours before I found it. IMPRESSIVE. However, your site has so many interfering "pop ups" that it made navigating your page HORRIBLE. So, I am unsubscribing..I hate being knocked off and resubmitting my input.

  10. Nathen B-avatar

As a paying subscriber who also gets the paper edition, why is there pop-up ads in the app? I can't sign in and get an add free version? I assumed that's what I was paying for. Also, the app itself is clunky looking and the ads slow down my phone even while on a 200+ mbps WiFi network to the point the app stutters and lags.
