Edit 3/4/20: I thought it was only fair to amend my review. For a week after the update it did not work. Then suddenly it started working. I made no changes to my device, did not even restart it. Don't know if tbe author did a quick fix or what, but it does not crash anymore trying to read files. [Old review] Great update guys! BSPlayer has been working fine for years, but now if I try to play my mp3 files on my SD card it freezes and dies. I dont have time for this.

***Update: Player doesn't recognize any of my 2GB+ size videos (the 40 missing files). Legacy version sees all my videos. Also, Audio Offset pop-up window is WAY too big/opaque and in the worst spot -- I can't see mouths move while adjusting the offset. Also, Audio Offset needs to remember specific value for each video.*** Only shows 16 of my 56 videos. Won't "Open from storage..." the missing 40 videos. Rescanning doesn't work. Tried Pro version also, got same result and refunded it.

I'm very disappointed with the ui changes the feature to bring up fine controls for brightness and sound is gone, now only useless ui swiping. The symbol vanished from my apps page, ad desktop. Can only run thru playstore Please either undo this release, put out a classic version in the playstore with original gui and fix the app symbol. I suspect you upgraded to support some of the newer android versions and messed up backward compatability. Very bad.

overall its a very good video player but when i delete videos from device they still show up in the videos section please fix this

To many ads, I don't know when that changed, I have used this to play music through my car stereo before and it worked fine but the ads are a deal breaker, I can't mess with my phone all the time when I'm driving, VLC player works fine and I don't have to mess with it.

The video does not update as you seek so if you're trying to seek to a specific part of a video, you'd have to guess where you are. Also, the quality of screenshots taken are drastically lower quality than ones taken on PC with, let's say, VLC or PotPlayer. Not sure why that is. Otherwise it's on the cusp of being better than VLC Android and MX Player

App update screwed me and all my file list are gone that reached out to the internet music. When thing work great dont change it. Now I have lost everything and cant get it back. Thumbs down to the idiot who thought doing an update was good.

Only needed something that would allow me to watch at greater than double speed. This app does not provide a way to do this.

I went to buy the Pro version after having the free version for years luckily I saw recent reviews. As others are mentioning, the developers ruined what used to be good. Did they sell? Recently Viewed doesn't show my current video. Playback stalls out. BTW, who has recommendations for another video player?
