Registration through the Guardia Civil went smoothly, and the data scan from machine-readable ID has worked every time, including examples with Cyrillic script for the documents themselves. A glitch by which the data for the date of document issue were not captured was fixed within a couple of days of my having reported it, and my limited experience of the help chat function has been very positive.
