The world building and overall "feel" of this game is TOP-NOTCH. Cyberpunk noir is one of my favorite underexplored genres. However, it wasn't done justice here. The actual plot is very barebones, and I felt like nothing MC does even affects anything, and that their reason for being MC at all is weak and underexplained. The supporting cast is not fleshed out at ALL, and even MC lacks development. The story is also incredibly short. Ultimately not worth the price, a big letdown.

This story moved me to literal tears. A lot of the stuff in this I felt I could relate to, and some I really could (self harm, depression, hopelessness), and it just moved me so bad. I genuinely loved the story and wish there was more, maybe a sequel or even that the story was longer, though it already felt like it went on for forever. Ended up getting back with the ex, and after everything that happened it just felt good to have a good ending. Absolutely loved it, 10/10, will play again.

The story was engaging and well written, the author obviously has a great deal of talent. However the supporting charecters lacked depth, I think if the story was longer these characters could have been fully fleshed out. Conclusion is that it just lacked the length in which to fully explore such an epic premise. Worth the read though.

This can be a harsh game, especially if you have triggers related to depression or selfml-harm, although that I think is evident by the very premise and the game does have the option to show you the trigger warnings. I liked it, but it's not a game I would replay often, or at all. Frankly, there's not much replay value unless you messed up some choice. Now, it's been a while since I last played it, but I do remember I often tried to be the best parent possible but it didn't feel rewarding...

It's really good but it also feels rushed. I needed more time with my kid, with my work, with the conspiracy, with the politicking. Personal note to the author: There is no way the US will ever make something a punishment retroactively. That shiz would be a serious violation of Constitutional law and would be overturned 9-0 no matter who sits on the Supreme Court and how liberal or conservative their views.

Writing was full of errors, and had very little choices. Also it was too short to pay almost $5 for. Very little content after I paid, and nothing ever changed in the story after paying. What a rip off! Save your money, try one of the other stories. This one felt rushed, and definitely wasn't worth my time, or money!! Seemed like it was not completed, or just hurried. Could have been much better. Interesting idea, poor execution. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Finished at one reading. Action packed story that isn't too short or long - just the right amount of word count. The idea of the story can actually be understood in our own day and age by making assumptions of the future. I highly recommend this story for anyone who wants to experience a brief intriguing "vice".

Absolutely loved it! The plot, the angle, the characters, and the choices. It's an amazing piece but, like all things, it has room for improvement. Grammar, in-depth characterization, permanent consequences, character development. Many things can make this become better. Would gladly play again!

Story has a lot of heart and hard choices, but overall it feels a little hollow. Choices barely seem to matter in the end. Also stats were weird and messed with the story in weird ways. At times I wasn't sure which stat was being utilized and it caused failures in dialogue that impeded the investigation. Interesting concept though.

Great premise but felt far too rushed. It was hard to get invested in the story when it felt like I was skipping every other chapter. The pacing was completely off and the epilogue felt like the game had only just started, with a lot of loose ends never addressed. The characters seemed like they could've been interesting but the game is too short to actually flesh them out properly. Rent-a-Vice has a lot of potential but is completely hampered by how short it is.
