But that's not dating much. Does a decent job of categorizing and displaying apps for you to shop from. My biggest complaint is you can't jump past the 400 apps you looked at previously in that category so you can see the next 200. Additional filters would also improve this okay app. Hope Apple doesn't turn this app evil!

I first read about this in a company newsletter, touting itself as a better means of searching both Android Market and iTunes Store. Yeah, I get it. No marketplace is perfect. But there is one thing about Android Market that current tops Chomp, despite it's lovely function-based algorithm searching: Being able to check compatibility of the app with your phone, prior to trying to download it. Until Chomp adds these feature and adjusts search results for the user's phone, I'll keep this as 3 stars.

Don't write too many reviews, but Chomp is that good it warrants me doing so. Do yourself a favor, get Chomp. Awesome for bigger display type phones or tablets. App searching disappointment will be a thing of the past.

...there should be a login capability on the web site, via any browser, too. Right now, one can search for stuff via any browser, on a PC or Mac, but one can only actually rate things, or review things, etc., via the Android (and I assume, also, the iPhone) app. It's not time to scrap normal computers, yet! Hopefully, I won't actually even SEE that in my lifetime. Limiting interaction with the CHOMP web site to only those using their smartphone apps is kinda' dumb. The good folks at CHOMP need to re-think it. But, other than that not-insignificant quibble, it's pretty darned nice, generally speaking. I have, already, though, found some broken links to the various apps' Google Play Store's pages. And since CHOMP doesn't (at least not so far as I've yet seen) show the appmaker's name, it's sometimes hard to find an app when it's got the exact same name as other apps (as with whiteboard apps, for example); and so it's difficult to figure out which one the CHOMP site's talking about. That's a huge problem; and because I discovered it while in a regular PC browser, I couldn't login to update/correct the entry. Ugh! Still, it's good, overall. I like it, so far. We'll see.

Does what the search button on the android market does! So why use it!
