This app does not function properly. The app developers are no help either. They just tell you to contact netgear support. I have been on 3 seperate chats lasting an hour with tech support and they can't make it work right. Most of the paid features do not work. Don't bother subscribing to the service, you will get the same usability with the free version.

Like a few others have mentioned, recently history no longer shows up. For me it stopped showing history sometime between 2 and 3 am on 10/26/2021. Some things that have been filtered show up, but not everything. Used this for years and it's mostly worked okay, but a lot of times history from devices will show up on the wrong profile for a few minutes at a time. It will also block things it shouldn't and you have to reload the page multiple times to get it to load properly.

Recently the app had problems with the browsing history not showing at all. The blocked history will show at the very least. Controls are pretty simple, add a profile then select what you want filtered. You can even add websites you want to block manually. If you have kids, you may want to Google top 10 vpn and add them to the block list. The VPN blocker doesn't work as good as other app. I made two profiles for my kids, one for their school laptops and another for their personal computer.

USELESS! Our devices keep moving from their assigned kids' profile to either the home profile or unmanaged devices list, effectively nullifying all their personalized filters, limits, time & history tracking, etc. Also multiples of every device keep showing up in Circle and I have to add the duplicates to their profiles to try to make it work. I'm CONSTANTLY checking and it keeps saying they've used 0 minutes, when they're gaming online right in front of me. Doesn't work!

App does what it says it does, my biggest issue is its mostly used with netgear devices. I had my netgear router brick itself 2 days ago because it did a firmware update without permission. Now I'm 2 months into the subscription and am out the $50 because I won't be able to get a refund, and I'm not going back to netgear.

Bought specifically to block certain websites. It used to work. Now it doesn't and you can get right on. That was the whole purpose of buying it.

It worked for a few days, then stopped working on R8000. Shows the error message "Darn, couldn't find Circle on your router".

Awful used to work amazing for years. Now I can't see history, block anything nor shut it down automatically at a certain time like before. 😒 very very disappointed 😞

Removed basic router functionality, so you have to pay to get any of these self managed features. This was no means a cheap router, this is shameful on Netgear to charge again and again on a piece of hardware I already own.
