Great service, horrible app. Once upon a time the app worked great. I moved, used the app to change service to new address. That worked fine. Sadly afterward it went down hill. I couldn't log in. Reached out to Xfinity and turns out I have 2 accounts. Old address and new address. Helped me log into the app. Offered to remember which account was my active account and it never does. I'm forced to remind the app which one is mine even though it tells me "click here to remember active account".

Horrible app. Does the opposite of what it claims it does. Makes connecting to wifi almost impossible and when you finally do connect it will close and boot you off. This app should be removed from the play store until they actually fix it.

Wifi Profile Management has been disabled. Can no longer connect to XFINITY SSID since this app has been updated. Xfinity probably did this so you pay for mobile data and not WiFi when your remote. They need to make even more money. Spent 2 hours on the phone with support and they have no idea there is an issue. The email address that the developer supplies is not even correct. I have attempted multiple times and I just get a response that this email is not correct. So Comcast does not even care.

After reading a bunch of negative reviews I figured I would write this: 1. It's free for people who pay for their internet service, as in free high speed internet away from your home router - not the internet is free for anyone with the free app. 2. When connecting turn off your mobile data and switch to wifi, or set device preferences to prefer wifi over mobile data. If you have no mobile data, and are connected to mobile data, standing in a wifi hotspot or not, you still have no mobile data.

I checked my hometown hotspot map before traveling recently, and discovered that while the app lists hundreds of them and shows much of the city blanketed in wifi, not one actually existed!! What a joke! I tried to find dozens of the "hotspots" and not one was actually available in a 30 mile radius. Why even list these?! Why lie to your customers and leave them stranded while traveling? Shame on Xfinity!

The app does show nearby hotspots but you can not connect to them so I really don't see the point of the app. If the hotspot isn't in your WiFi network you can't connect. I was out of town and the app was useless. If there are nearby hotspots it will just automatically show up in the WiFi network settings.

They tell you to download this app to use the "free" hotspots. Then it tells you to login. You login using an old account email and it tells you to sign up for service to access the "free" hotspots. So, it's not actually free. And every link is a run around back to signing up for service. It's a racket and they know it.

Would give it 0 stars if possible. Got it to work, with no help from tech support, not that I didn't try but still useless. Supposed to connect automatically, but everytime there is an update to either the phone or the app I have to jump through hoops again to connect. Terrible app, terrible support.

I can't even get my sign in credentials to work to even log into the app to use. I know my login information is correct because i can log into the normal xfinity my account with no issues. I used to rely on this app and the computer version to connect to hotspots when i had to do business at random spots. Now i just have to hope they hve public internet. Horrible app and service.

I've tried for weeks to fix this by myself, then called tech support and if it's not in their script they can't help you! I've surfed the web for hours and hours.....again nothing and don't bother using xfinity website for info......almost every link just takes you back to the home page with no information to glean from any of them! This company just feels they are big enough that they don't have to to really take care of the customer....all told, I've spent over 49 hours on the phone with them
