Used to be a great app. Simple to use and it told you how long until you would likely burn. It has become increasingly buggy, does not respond or response slowly, does not update your location automatically and bugs you to spend money. I appreciate you need to monetise to survive, but you'd think that would mean the quality went up not down. Very disappointing.

Bought the subscription, to help me keep track of my time in the sun. Thought you could log entries, and later review your logged in data. Not the case. Not sure what this app is good for without this feature, nor why subscriptions are So Expensive when it fails to offer a "Logging Feature" for future Reference. Just gives you information you could otherwise find free on Google with your Location Enabled. Canceled a year subscription within the first month of buying it. Save your Money.

it does work to remind you to apply sunscreen however if you have the device and sit down for a period of time in the shade it will turn off, very irritating. I would like a calculator that doesnt shut off until you tell it to. Also would be nice to be able to work offline if you are out of cell range say hiking etc.

Inaccurate, expensive. Keeps pestering you to buy a $150 UV tracker, and pay $4/month for other functions. The OmniCalculator sun calculating widget is free and a lot more accurate. Omni said I should be in the sun 1 hr 40 min (UV index: 2, skin type: III, altitude: 900m), QSun said 2 hr 52 minute (said the UV index was 1, couldn't change it). Would've gotten sun damage from QSun.

Makes you sign up with email, but burn time calculator doesnt work. you NEED to make a profile with your email to even use the burn time feature once i did that, gave them all my demographic info (so they can sell it, no doubt), the app doesnt even do what its supposed to do. why did i bother making a profile then.....? burn time just says "- hours, - minutes". THIS IS JUST ANOTHER DATA MINING APP.

It was cool when it linked with my fitbit. But doesn't anymore. It also crashes constantly so when you're tanning the timer just stops, so you need to rely on another timer or you loose track and burn. You can't do much, unless you go pro. The skin photo doesn't work either. You can't track Vitamin D without Pro and you can't manually put in the UV reading if your city is out of range.

The idea behind this product is great. The execution of it? Terrible. A waste of your time and money. The first problem is that you need to buy a device which is ~$99 CAD. Secondly, you need to buy a pro account for $25 annually. The device shipped late with little communication from the team. Upon receiving the device, I hadn't received my free pro code (which is only for one year, not a lifetime). When I opened the package, the device felt terrible in my hand. Rather than hard, smooth plastic device I had been expecting, it was a very gross velvet texture. I emailed the team for my pro code, which I eventually got. Opening the battery cover to remove the plastic sticker was a nightmare. I could hardly get the back cover to screw off because the clip part kept pushing it down. I tried to follow the instructions in the manual to connect the device, but it seems to me that the instructions are out of date and are actually for an older version of the app. The UX of the app is downright AWFUL. They constantly ask you to "Rate 5 Stars" (sorry, no. You're annoying.) and the "back button" for Samsung doesn't work, it backs you out of the app rather than previous screen. Don't buy it.

A lot better than some other vitamin D apps. Some features are only on the paid version, such as full face analyser. This also seems to be primarily designed to flog their QSun device.

My total daily UI keeps resetting every time I start and stop tracking, and does not show up on my log at all. Not worth the premium if the tracker is unreliable.
