I really like the idea of this app! Unfortunately, I am unable to enjoy or use it because it continually crashes after running for about 10 minutes, and the "find properties" section never loads whenever I actually select individual properties to check out. Extremely frustrating, especially when these issues continue right after an update. The app is not filled with ads popping up. This is a plus. It also appears to be entirely free to use, which is great.

For now, I'm going to give Room8 a three star. It's a great idea, but there is lack In a few areas in the app itself. For one thing, there is no reset button on the search. There's not a lot of areas that are even included in the current state I live in only two major cities/towns. What about Louisville? Or the other major cities? You guys also need to branch out more to other people. Advertise! I'm pretty sure there are other people looking for roommates. Not just the few listed on the app

This app needs to have a setting where it removes old listings that haven't been updated for at least three months. Some of the rentals are from 2018. Additional filters for the last time a user was active should be extended to a month, and lastly if a user has been inactive for more than a month it should send reminders or something so that they update their listing. Over half of the users are inactive or have outdated listings.

My experience with this app was great actually. Easy to operate. I was unsuccessful with finding a roommate but that had more to do with my location and budget. ROOM8 gives the impression that if I lived on the moon as it is now with a $10 rent budget, the app would still try and find a match for me lbs.

I wasn't actually looking for a space to live when I downloaded this, I only wanted to see what it was about and it is a great app for viewing housing in pretty much any area. I would reccomend this to somebody looking for an apartment. The features are great too. Edit: I accidentally gave this 4 stars instead of 5.

There is no way to deactivate/delete my account from the app even tho Q&A gives directions to do so - there is no gear icon or option in the app. I don't like the interface. I am always worrisome of apps that make it difficult to delete or deactivate an account. Zero stars if I could due to frustration and wasted time messing with .io apps.

Did not contain the large college town I live in, could not scroll through the profile list completely got stopped halfway through a profile each time, doesn't provide email or numbers for contacting people, and for some godforsaken reason there's no actual way to open someone's profile when they chat you. Between broken listing and lack of profile view, if someone chats you that's below list breakoff, good luck hitting it off as you don't know their age, info, or any other non murderer details

Love this app! i just moved to the area and had no idea where to start with finding a place or roommates. The filters feature was super useful for matching with potential roommates and all of the apartments listed on here were auper high quality. I'm moving into a shiny new place with 2 roommates i really like next month and im sooooooo excited. would definitely recommend this app!

Can't post because it freezes when uploading pictures. Uninstalling app. "Please ensure you're using the latest version of the app" Of course I am using the latest version, I just installed it and tried to post and it didn't work.

filter resets on its own. I tried setting ot to 1000 about 5 times -_- personal info / picture is required and that does not feel safe when I have not yet met the landlord / roommate! this is the perfect app for sexual predators. EDIT: OMG cancelling the account is so complicated. why? regret downloading.
