Water Safety for the Entire Family.

Children and adults can have fun learning to be safer in and around water with Swim by the American Red Cross and sponsored by The ZAC Foundation. Knowing how to swim is exciting and opens the door to many opportunities, but water is not without risk. Learning to enjoy the water safely should be the first step for anyone who will be around water.

Swim helps the entire family by focusing on water competency which involves a combination of being water smart, having water safety and survival skills, and knowing what to do in a water emergency. This app teaches users the layers of protection to prevent drowning and about risks around water at home, in other environments, such as lakes, rivers and oceans, as well as in risky situations, such as group gatherings involving water.

Swim helps get the most out of Red Cross swim lessons with a skills progress tracker, sharable badges videos and more while making learning fun!

Specific features include:
- Proactive drowning prevention guidance, including how to provide active supervision around water and choosing a quality swim lesson program.
- Videos, infographics and links to additional resources for adults to help further understanding.
- A Kids section with water safety messages using memorable phrases to reinforce learning.
- Sharable badges for adults and children to reward achievements for mastering knowledge and/or skills.
- Videos that show what performance to expect during the progression of learning to swim.
- Charts to track the skills and water safety topics your young swimmer will learn at each Learn-to-Swim level.

Learn to enjoy the water safely with Swim by the American Red Cross.

Great app, but seems to have some bugs. In the Lakes and Rivers quiz, the first question is impossible to complete wich means you can't get the badge. Even though you may have every other question right. Also, in the Swim as a Pair lesson the question of "Tap the safest area on the beach while swimming" is somehow messed up. Even though I clicked right in front of the lifeguard it says incorrect. I personally don't need the lessons, but I'm just testing them for bugs. Hope this helps!

App has serious problems! After creation of kids accounts, if you return to any of them by pressing the kids account, it undergoes again the kid accounts. Also, on the right upper hand side where the tree dots appears. There is no other menu, nor settings or help. None of the snapshots observed in the promotion, are available. Really disappointed from the red cross, I expected a more professional plataform.

It won't save some of the skills and it makes both of my children have the same achievements the only thing different from them is their badges and they both can't take their own test

I would love to buy the physical stickers and give them to my students. I don't like the fact that parents or the students can just click on a badge and "earn it". It would've been better if the parents could make an account which included their children and the instructor could make an account with all the students that she has. That way, the instructor would be able to give the badge to a student through the app and it would immediately be synced with the parents' account and display the badges.
