I've had this camera over a year now and have managed (after several attempts) to obtain all of 2 photos from it. As for video, forget it. App contancely crashes. My advice, pay a little more and get something fit for purpose.

Lacks camera settings control. Otherwise it does what it should. A note, if you attempt to connect to WIFI and are not connecting, check to see if you are connected to Akaso net! and restart the app. I learned this the hard way.

Notice how they don't reply or help anyone in the reviews. Some reviewer's have said that you need to "figure it out" or "It was just user error." I am not tech illiterate. This is not a matter of User Error. The instructions to connect your phone and camera are very simple. The cameras wifi shows up on my phone with data off, but when I tap it (tap registers) theres no prompt to type in a password. The camera says "Waiting for WiFi connection." It just simply doesn't work for most of us. Trash

Opened app and connected to the camera, froze app, tried opening again and can't even select the camera I use now to connect to so app is basically useless. Thanks

Wish I'd read the app reviews before buying the camera. Android app will start and stop video filming only. No playback or file management, only Chinese error message. Advice to connect via USB is wrong, it only charges battery. I wanted an entry level action cam, didn't expect to have to use connection technology from the turn of the century. Very poor.

This app is complete garbage...crashes all the time!!! Very little setting can be change within the app. Cannot edit video within the app. More or less its a completely useless app! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH IT. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED 😞

App works fine. Set your phone to use the cameras wifi and scroll through the cameras in the app to the version you are connected to and hit connect. Able to control camera, change it's settings and download the pix/videos from the camera to the phone easy. I did notice the camera seemed to get warm with the wifi on, but again, works fine. Your app sucks along with your camera. I've only had my camera connect to your 1 time. When I first got my camera that Amazon highly recommended. I have to take the SD card out and install it into my tablet to review the pictures on this P.O.S. camera. I got another camera for free for just paying S&H a much better and less of a hassle of a gopro type of camera

Can't make a connection from phone to camera. Are you guys going to fix this app. I have a One plus 8 phone and the app just keeps saying "can't make the connection, please try again".

Will not connect to Brave 6. Camera pretty good but app a complete waste of space. Will just stick sd card into laptop.
