I've tried most this one is the best. I love the background mode and the red transparent flashing red dot letting me know I'm recording. And it have not crashed not once like the rest. I also like how I can set my favorite app to open when I go to background mode. In this case I set Waze navigation to open. This dashcam is number one a must have if you're looking for cellphone dashcam. UPDATE 6/7/21 It started freezing and shutting down sometimes it would not record sorry had to uninstall

I like how it comes on automatically when configured, BUT I don't see recent videos.I don't need to save every video, but it seems videos are no longer saved once internal storage is filled. Once allowed storage is filled, the oldest video should be deleted. It looks like I need to do this manually.

App works very well.. I would like it even more if it had the option to start recording automatically when it's paired with my vehicle's Bluetooth when I switch the ignition on.. And if it could record at wider aspect ratios.

This is the best dashcam app I've found. To record in background you have to manually set permissions, but it's the best working app that also uses my wide angle on my s10 plus. Giving me great coverage.

Will not work when network is not connected. Tried to run on older samsung galaxy lite with no sim card and in airplane mode to extend battery. No joy. Video does not display and no recording is possible. Also cannot turn display off also to conserve battery. What is needed is an app for an old non-service phone that will truely run in background with the screen off and use led blink to indicate recording. Also creates .mov files thst cannot be played back on stock samsung android galaxy 4

I didn't use any other apps while this app was on and it kept stopping the recordings randomly. Not sure if this is important to anyone but sound is also not recorded. The important part is the recording of the video which is inconsistent, I don't want to focus on my phone while I'm driving to see if it's still recording or not.

Pretty good. I only wish it had the option to use the wide-angle camera (Moto x4, Moto G power, Moto G stylus, USB endoscope camera). Recording wide-angle forward and usb endoscope camera to the back simultaneously would be the ideal.
