I wasted a lot of time attempting to set this up. first, i did follow all the instructions step-by-step. each and every time i still was getting a RED button. tried root, tried my set password and username. nothing worked. bogus app, uninstalled.

Doesn't work. SSH is enabled I know as I can access via telnet. Text Connection stays red and does nothing else. Uninstalled as it's useless.

Enabled SSH as instructions say and rebooted. Won't let me add widget. "Test Connection" stays red. Z3c - Lollipop. 🍭

Enabled ssh exactly as pictured. Was connected to network. Test button stayed red. Would be helpful to have some debugging information not just a red failure button.
