Dexcom G6 provides real-time glucose readings as frequently as every five minutes. Dexcom G6 is approved for children age 2 and older. The Dexcom G6 System provides personalized trend alerts right on your smart device and lets you see when your glucose levels are going too low, or too high, so you can better manage your diabetes. The Alert Schedule feature lets you schedule and customize a second set of alerts. Custom alert sounds are available, including a Vibrate-Only option on the phone for glucose alerts. The only exception is the Urgent Low Alarm, which you can’t turn off. The Always Sound setting allows you to receive certain Dexcom CGM Alerts even if your phone sound is off, set to vibrate, or in Do Not Disturb mode. This will allow you to silence calls or texts but still receive audible CGM Alerts, including Low and High Glucose alert, Urgent Low Soon Alert, Urgent Low Alarm, and Rise and Fall Rate alerts. Always Sound is on by default. A Home screen icon shows you if your Alerts will sound or not. For safety, the Urgent Low Alarm and these alerts can’t be silenced: Transmitter Failed, Sensor Failed, and App Stopped. Please update the app for android OS 11. My phone finally broke down after years of use, and the app won't work on my new replacement. I was assured it wouldn't take long to update the app when I first chose Dexcom, but the phone it won't work on has been on sale for a year now.. No excuse at this stage.

After years of excellent use, app has recently started to lose Bluetooth connection, resulting in surprise hypos. Turning Bluetooth on and off several times a day, or restarting, to reconnect. Unable to reach Dexcom tech support in UK (+1 hour wait this week) and no response to call back request four days later. Dexcom is life changing when it works, but right now it feels as though the business has dropped the ball on phone system compatability and service. Needs urgent fixing.

It does tell you what your glucose levels are, but you need a whole seperate app for analysing the data, which is ludicrous. Loses bluetooth connection regularly, but at least the data isn't lost. Needs to get rid of that irritating warning you get every time you open the app. Once was enough, thanks. A widget on the home screen to make it easier to see your levels at a glance would be nice. Dexcom sensors are great, but this app really lets them down. Freestyle Libre app is far superior.

Good overall experience with assisting with managing blood glucose. Just one thing that needs adjustment. After an alert, please keep the music playing. An alert stops the music. Other apps dont do this.

Great App when it works...The App is brilliant when it works to keep an eye on blood sugar levels but the trouble is that is very unreliable in keeping a constant connection with the transmitter. I get multiple lost connection messages everyday even though my phone is well with the required 6m range. The functionality is quite basic around comments that can be added to events compared to comparable products. In summary, I expected a better app to accompany the sensor technology for the price

Samsung s7 tablet issues I switched from apple to android, expecting the new tablet samsung s7 to be compatible with the g6 app. My A71 phone works fine and I expected to be able to use both devices to look at my blood glucose. I'm very disappointed that my brand new and very expensive tablet does support the decor g6 app. Very unhappy.

This app is TERRIBLE! I have been using CGMs for years with no app issues. However, since I started using this app on a new "compatible" phone I get more sensor errors than actual readings. What's the point of paying a truckload of money for technology that can save your life when the stupid app is useless and only endangers your life?

Never had any issues with the app. Does what it needed to do and that was displaying glucose, however from now on I'll be using another app to manager aspects of my diabetes due to constraints of not being able to have my phone at work and needing access to the info on every device possible.

As mentioned by several others; this is great when it works. However, it is unstable and very often loose the Bluetooth connection to the transmitter. Would it be possible to add a functionality to reconnect to the transmitter? At least this would allow reduction of unnecessary waste of medical equipment, as the transmitter, in my experience, needs to be replaced when connection is lost..

I've had great success with this for months but around the start of this year for no apparent reason my dexcom transmitter loses connection and then never reconnect and I keep having to get new transmitters sent to me.
