Spare Parts Plus! PRO allows you to enable and change some hidden settings of your Android device. This app is based on the open code provided by Google but updated to work with Android 2.33 GingerBread and tested on CyanogenMod7. This app is provided to you for free and without AdMob ads. Note that stock GingerBread ROMs do not have the Battery History activity. You need CM7 or Custom Rom to see this. I am working on a fix for a future version. For example: - Enable/Disable compatibility mode to allow Apps to work at full screen size on Galaxy Tab and other large screen devices - Control windows animation speeds or disable them entirely to speed up your device! - Control windows transition speeds or disable them entirely to speed up your device! - Control haptic feedback - View battery history and information - View usage statistics - Control WiFi sleep policy to keep WiFi connected - No annoying AdMob adverts - And much, much more! This is the first release and more features and settings will be added soon. Look out also for our Blade Buddy program for rooted devices which allows you to change, optimize and speed up your phone even more! Warning: some ROMs do not have battery history activity built-in. The app will force close if you try to run and this activity is not built into the ROM. A note on permissions: the program requests the following permissions: android.permission.SET_ANIMATION_SCALE android.permission.CHANGE_CONFIGURATION android.permission.WRITE_SETTINGS android.permission.INTERNET android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE These are required to change your settings and also to enable analytics and bug-tracking.

There are two places on this stupid phone that I cannot turn off vibration feedback - lock screen and customizing home screens. Tried this app to force it to stop since I cannot stand any vibration at all..... Haptic feedback was unchecked yet the vibration still occurred. 1 star simply because it didn't solve my problem. It may work well with a different phone...

All these settings are the sort you would set and leave forever. You don't need to take up space on your device with an app like this as all of these settings are available in the Developer Mode settings anyway. So, if you are low on resources you really don't need this app.

Half of the items I click on end up causing a force close to pop up, the other half are simply options I can already easily open up in settings on the phone and is simply a shortcut, nothing more. I've tried clearing memory, clearing app data/cache and restarting the phone but nothing fixes the force closes. App pointless. Uninstalling.

I learn more about these devices from intelegently written apps than from any other source. I look for logic first, consumer uses second, and how much memory it consumes. Bells, whistles, tinsel, glamour, and bold proclamations are red flags. I give this app 5 white flags!

How is this app 5 stars when all it let's you do is open your battery screen. And the only second real feature in the app, changing window animation speed is built into all launchers now

Useful for saving battery power. No ads is also very nice! It crashes when I try to check usage statistics on my nexus 7 (2012) but otherwise works fine.

My phone is redmi note 3... Whenever i restarts or close this phone this app gets resetted to default .. doesn't work at all even i tried to minimize it

FullScreen fix for Samsung tab3lite works great. The factory settings are left out for some reason preventing a full view and this app fixed the issue without a problem. Thanks for the spare parts...literally! !
