I appreciate that something as simple as using this browser helps plant trees, which is why I have been using the app for at least two or three years now. It functions well, I don't have trouble finding the web pages I want. It doesn't have the fancier features that Chrome does and the image search results needs work (some images get cut off when using it on mobile). But I honestly can't complain as it suits my needs. I hope this app continues to grow, improve, and plant lots more trees!

I love this app since I'm able to participate in reforestation simply by using it. But there are lots of rooms for improvement like being more visual, showing more photo and video results as well. Sometimes also, I find it difficult to search for something when using Ecosia since I'm not provided with lots of suggestions. But more power to you guys, I know you will be able to improve the app.

I love it. Way better than chromes new updates. Plus it plants trees. I don't like how you always get taken to google while in the broswer but they can't plant trees without doing that. So. Yea. Pretty fun. I like it. Hopefully people can also use a broswer like this one to help clean up the ocean. NO ADDS either. YASSSS. Suck it chrome

This is a great app, and the web browser is easy to use. My only complaint is that when you click on an image in image search, it won't show it to you, but everything else works wonderfully so far. May I also propose using to Ecose that instead of to Google that?

Nice idea, but unfortunately it has a lot of issues. I've had issues logging into pages, being redirected, downloading files... And I mean important things, like checking Covid test results and trying to check into flights!! Always with vague errors such as "Access denied" or "Unknown Error". Changing back to Chrome fixed those issues every time. So while this is a nice idea, I do not recommend Ecosia as your default browser. It will cause you a lot of headache.

This is a great way of helping out the world and yourself when you don't have money to donate to anything, finally a way to help that costs absolutely nothing! The browser is great and now the only one that I use :) Definitely recommend giving it a try! Side note: one of the reviews said that members of the lgbtq+ community kissing are blurred, I tested it out and that was not at all the case for me, that issue must have been specific to their settings/ wifi speed

Ecosia is a good browser I'd like to use more often. I like the tree planting work being done. My bother with it is having tabs I've deleted reappear repeatedly. Seems I have to clear everything, but then what I want to come back to often (like COVID exposure sites) are also gone.

Thumbs up for planting trees. The browser is usable. As improvement I would like a dark mode ( it might consume a tiny bit less energy on OLED screens and it would look better and less eye strain). Edit: ver.4.3.2 has dark mode... Thanks. But Ecosia is the largest app in my phone, 1.6GB!!! Some junk removal from code might be recommended in next versions.

Helping the environment while browsing securely, it's a great way to do some good, although it does not feature an inbuilt calculator, or other fancier features of Chrome, it is still the best out there.

Yay trees, but the browser uses it's own autofill provider setup meaning it defaults to the Chrome password manager. So every time I want to login somewhere I have to manually switch over to my password manager and copy/paste my login info
