More details about the research project at https://www.sismo.app Main features: - Earthquake early warnings - User's reports on felt earthquakes - Earthquake data from national and international seismic networks starting from magnitude 0.0 - Earthquake notifications through voice synthesizer (only PRO version) The Earthquake Network research project develops a smartphone-based earthquake early warning system able to detect earthquakes in real time and to alert the population in advance. Smartphones are able to detect earthquakes thanks to the accelerometer on-board each device. When an earthquake is detected, users with the application installed are immediatly alerted. Since earthquake waves travel at a finite speed (from 5 to 10 km/s) it is possible to alert the population not yet reached by the damaging waves of the earthquake. Great app alerted me instantly today though I was directly above the epicenter. Remember to disable battery optimization as it may interfere with the app. Love the real time simulation of seismic wave. I suggest to add a longer vibration along with the alarm and possibly to increase the screen brightness. Also would be nice to have on the first page the earthquake magnitude once available. And why fault lines were removed? Great work anyway.

Failed to notify me of a nearby 4.3m earthquake 20mi away. Google earthquake alerts notified me just seconds before I felt the shaking. Earthquake Network? They notified me a few minutes AFTER the shaking stopped. What's even worse is I'm subscribed to the priority service AND I have both versions of their app as a fail safe. Both failed. Glad Google had my back without charging me a dime.

❌Not getting seismic network notifications again even though app is optimized and strong earthquakes ticked. Even the earthquake tab show the bell notification but didn't receive anything. So unreliable.👎 ❌no USGS link anymore, redirecting to their website for more info about an earthquake. ❌No dark theme ❌UI is terrible.

Since the update I haven't gotten any notis of earthquakes the last 1 was 4 hours ago in Switzerland but I have the settings where I will get every earthquake I uninstalled and installed and will try again but other than that amazing app would be 5 stars if I didn't have to uninstall and reinstall

Needs a real graphic designer to design this app. Looks terribly amateurish. I don't really want this thing phoning home with my location every 20 minutes either.

If it was possible to add 6 extra Stars. 💫 💫 💫 💫 💫 💫 ✨ it would've been a done deal. Everyone resides in an earthquake zone, should have this app on their phones. The few seconds that I get before an earthquake reaches me here in "Sacramento California," is enough time for my family and I to get to a safe place in the house, it is 💯% accurate everytime. I tried out sevral quake apps, I've since deleted the others. I want to personally thank the geniuses for constructing this app. Bravo!!!
