After the update to Lollipop, many people noticed that Groups were missing from the default contacts app that comes with your device. As an essential piece of contacts, this made some people confused and upset. We decided to add an option as an alternative for users to use. The look and feel is for 5.0 and it looks exactly like it should have been in the contacts app. You can place this right next to your existing contacts app and easily select it when you want to work with Groups.

The app is fully functional but will require a small amount (0.99 USD) for an In-App-Purchase (IAP) after some time for continued usage. If there is no purchase done, the app will cease to work.

Permissions are needed for IAP as well as for syncing your contacts from the stock contacts application to this application so that a group can be created from it.

I would really like to purchase this app. When I click the "buy" tab it tells me to go to the Google play store. The Google play store says I own it, but I only have the trial version. Please help. This simple all actually fixed a very important feature for my phone

The app was a godsend when I was on Lollipop, but since I updated to MM, Google still hasn't reinstated this function and now this app no longer works, it just gives me an error message and won't even let me into the app. Please update this for MM and I'll gladly change my review.

The app satisfied the lapse in Lollipop where Contact Groups were no longer included. Paying for the app is not a problem except it won't allow me to pay for it. Have sent an email to Flipdog Solutions and am waiting for a reply. Will not if and when one is received. For now, only 1 star is appropriate.

Rather than making things any easier after the omission of contact group management from v5.x Lollipop this app just makes things harder. If I try to modify a group by adding contacts I select the group and start keying in the contact name. What this app does is it finds the name and if it has multiple number or email field it repeats that name for each field for selection. Which would be good if it showed each name/email field corresponding to the field included with the selection. But what this app does is it repeats only the primary field making it impossible to choose which one except by trial and error. If you get it wrong nothing happens. A frustrating waste of time. Stick to the standard workaround of editing the contact in the std Contacts app and including/excluding the Group Name.

Nope!!! This is NOT "Contacts 6.0.1" that I was looking for... sigh. Similar Icon, but a smidge different. I was looking ALL OVER FOR "Google Comtacts," as I presumed it was a stock APP. Perhaps it really IS then... ugh. The search continues!!

This app works brilliantly with Lollipop on my tablet (although we shouldn't need it!). My phone's default contacts app DID support contact groups on Marshmallow, but after a recent update to Nougat, it doesn't. I had hoped to install this to fix the problem, but it doesn't run at all. PLEASE make a version for Nougat.

This app absolutely came to my rescue after Android stupidly dropped the ability to access Groups. I finally have Marshmallow, so I bid this app goodbye. Thank you so much to the developers that came to our rescue, you kept us functional and sane!!!

My first complaint is App selected one of my inactive accounts. No contacts there . I was not able to use an active account. THEY WANT ME TO PAY FOR THIS? There are a number of apps that perform the same function, ,AND THEY ARE FREE. Why pay for something that doesn't even have a settings edit that you select the account YOU WANT TO USE...

Am I missing something? It appears at first to fill a hole left by the omission of "Contacts groups" from Lollipop. Problems I find: The Search bar reads "find contacts", but it actually searches the groups. If you have half a dozen groups, this is scarcely necessary. Once a group is opened up, there is no search within it. I also agree with the huge icon problem. We have brilliant high-res screens, then fill them with about six huge blobs with hardy any information visible! I think I'll wait till Google sort out their own contacts.
