It's running on Android 6.0.1 on my Nexus 5, whose WiFi is broken and which has limited cellular data allowance. Works in Google app, Google news feed, Firefox & Chrome browsers, WhatsApp and Yahoo mail app, but not for downloading apps from Google's Play Store when it is set to use WiFi only. I will give it another star if the dev comes up with a good reason for why it needs to set up a VPN connection so it can monitor my network traffic, which I'm not too pleased with

Cannot get it to work with win 10 and s9 plus. I have 8nstalled drivers for adb on pc. Followed all instructions. 8 cann connect pc to android. But nothing loads. I tried Chrome, dolphin browser, youtube etc but the receive and sent counters stay at 0.

Fantastic application. I am the developer of another Android app that communicates over the local network via WiFi to a PC server. If users ask how to use my app via USB I point them towards this application. All report excellent results. I also suffer from poor reviews from people that don't have enough knowledge to set up my app correctly. Why can't people just be humble and ask the developer for help in a nice fashion? As someone involved in networking on Android I am far enough away from the peak of Mt. Stupid on the Dunning-Kruger graph to appreciate the amount of work this application has taken. Believe me it's not trivial people. Curious why this is no longer available in my region (Australia)?

Found it best application for "Reverse Tethering" purpose, without "Root" and also free of cost. This does, as it says. Just, the limit is that connection time limit is about 10 minutes after every 20-30 minutes (20-30 minutes to wait) and then again about 10 minutes. Just, Extent the time limit more than this for the users. Thank you, for the developer(s) of this best application/team.

I am trying to cut back on my EMF exposure for health reasons. I have started using my laptop with an ethernet cable and I have been trying to figure out how to also use my cell phone wired! I did some research and found that what I need is reverse tethering! Great! Only, there are not many options....this is the first app that comes up when you search "reverse tethering app for android" ....so I chose to give it a try. It was a hassle to install, (and hopefully that Java Script download wasn't a virus...;0), but I finally figured it out and IT WORKED!!!!!!! GREAT!!! For like 40 min...and now I can't figure it out why it stopped. When it first worked it showed a "key" symbol in the top bar. Now that is gone. I am going to try a few more things....really hope it will work!! UPDATE: I got it working again!! I just had to click the VIP access with the key and select "always allow"....bam...and mode 1 is the one that works on my android - Moto Z. So yay. Now the only thing happening is it is telling me that this is the trial version and I need to upgrade to pro- and the connection randomly gets disconnected and I have to reconnect. Other than that seems to be working. :D

Decent idea, but it seems most modern apps ignore the connection. I'm no developer, but I can't imagine they'd ignore a vpn connection. Couldn't the app pretend to be vpn since it is essentially tunneling over USB to a server on your PC? Also, having a way to get the server from the app or the app from the server so you can transfer it with MTP would be nice.

You really made a lot of efforts to make Reverse Tethering possible. Kudos to the developer... I hope you can recommend some application that can might functional even without WiFi/Data connection or like VPN-like app.

Honest about its apps pros and cons however can you make it 30 mins for 1 hour? for free trial. and that would make it perfect. you can add some adds upon reconnecting that would do the job.

this app works fine...but I a problem with the unnecessary large amount of data usage by the app on my PC, especially when I just idle on social media could u find a way to fix that or is that just how it works
