FOX 8 is great local news. They're target audience is residents or visitors to Cleveland Ohio. The local news is just that unbiased and informative. Not like the cable fox news. You will enjoy using this app to keep up with local news. Highly recommended!

This Fox 8 Cleveland app used to be a great app. Over the past few months (Not sure exactly when) the app has declined in usability. I will click on a story to read and after a few seconds of reading the story will just go away. The print will disappear and the background will remain; however, it will just be a white screen. Sometimes you can fix this by go out of the story and then back in 3 or 4 times but that's not a good user experience in my opinion.

I used to really like this app. The last couple updates have been bad. Having to hit "continue reading" on an article I just picked to read is kind of annoying. When you pick "continue reading" the screen turns white and nothing. They have seemed to fix the bug that had me pushing "force close" a million times a day.

Annoying app! Jumpy and jerky when you go to the article you want to read. Then you get a bar to continue reading, which is also jumping around. Then when you finally get to the rest of the article, the screen goes white. WTH. Ready to uninstall and get a different Cleveland station. Update 11/11/20. Your app still sucks. Some stories open to a white blank page. I'm done! Going elsewhere. Would rate you zero stars if I could. YOUR APP SUCKS!!!

Now its very messy!!! It had its issues in the past, but now you can't watch live without constantly touching the screen to keep it from turning off, all the articles are mixed in with adds, you keep thinking you got to the end, but its another add. Then all of a sudden the articles end, but it appears to be an add, the CONSTANT pop up videos taking up half the screen is annoying too.

Very very slow and very laggy. Too bad because the news team is very good and I'd wish they would have an app that would compliment them by making the newscasts accessible.

5/27/20: Great when it works. Been crashing continually for the last few weeks since update. Unusable. Send crash reports repeatedly, but still no update/fixes. 10/19/20: updated in July, but still unusable. Had to shut it down do to non-stop crashes & apparently no one pays attention to crash reports. Sad. 12/2/20 Finally working again. Love it. Just need better share option.

The worst app I've ever used. You can't read the stories because the screen jumps and the stories disappear. You can try 5 or 6 times and its impossible to read the stories.. Often I get messages saying app is having problems and to close it, but, it doesn't close. No ty. Done w it too frustrating.
