Looking to buy a Sous Vide machine with extra functionality and iVide was on the list so I have to thank everyone who has left reviews- back to 2019 showing that iVide doesn't really have any interest in providing a useful app for their machines. That may be indicative of their approach to customer support so I think looking at other manufacturers seems prudent.

For some time I'm unable to connect to the device from my Android phone. Works fine from my iPad. Also all the meat types are shown twice.

App usually works recipes awful. People say the app won't connect to wifi but you need a network which is only 2.4Ghz which is rare or requires a tech wiz to set up. Recipes in the app are terrible with poor english, I reccomend another app for these. App may connect but doesn't always show all the information about the device and sometimes just won't connect.

Downloaded the app and I can't even open it as it keeps saying it (the app) is trying to configure. I keep on seeing the rotating circle as it trys. It hasn't gotten past that stage yet. Finally the app activated! Sometime overnight things clicked and now I am able to go thru the various parts of it. I don't have the actual sousVide yet but I am looking forward to getting it and being able to use both together. A shout out to their app support that contacted me within 24hrs to help out with any issues that may have occurred.

App only sometimes works. Calculator function stopped working the second time I viewed the app. Instead of stopping cooking when timer is done it automatically starts a new timer (started 1min to test, device later added 5h). Really needs improvement because the device it self looks like grades above this app.

Utterly useless!! Jokers sell a product marketed to be used with this app and it does not work, the app does not connect. Will look at other companies for cooking equipment in the future.

The app is completely useless, it won't make a successful connection. It's such a pity, when the machine itself is so good. Bad form.

Keep losing connection and then have to reinstall when it works it's good but only when it works my wife also has the app and has the same problem

Doesn't connect, the latest update wiped out and cleared all the WiFi data and now doesn't connect at all, uninstalled the app and redid it, still nothing. Farcical

How ever many times I try, and what ever settings I use this app will not connect to the device. I have uninstalled the app changed my wifi even tried a different phone.
