I'm just getting started as a new pre-diabetic and this is a learning tool to try and get my levels down so that it won't get worse. It's a new way of life now with the proper diet and exercise I can start eating more healthier than I was and be more conscious to avoid foods that are high saturated fat, salt and sugar and carbohydrates.

I have not had a chance to use this app but 1 time and I mean only flipped through a couple of screens, and suddenly trying to back out of a screen Im asked to rate the app before I can exit out. The rate the app question is very premature. I read some of the complaints on here about this very same issue. thought it was trivial, but then it happened to me. I shouldn't be forced to rate your app. Just like you can't force people to buy or use services.

As I've just been told im type 2 insulin dependant diabetic. I've found this app more informative than all the others. It tells you what you can/can't eat. Also what you should eat once every day and how much. From a selection of foods. it explains about the portion sizes. The diabetic nurse just sent myself off with a booklet. To be honest its made my outlook a bit better now

I am a type 1 Diabetic on an insulin pump and I need to lose some weight and get my blood sugars better under control. my A1C is 6.9 right now and that has been the highest I have ever been and I am not happy with that number. This diet is going to help me reach my goal of getting better blood sugars and lose some unwanted weight. I have tryed pretty much ever diet out there but this one is going to be my saving grace.

So far, really impressed with the information given. Downloaded for the intent of researching and then sharing with my dad who is prediabetic. I like the 7 day guide given and a 5 week guide as well - as inspiration. Would like to see more recipes though; even basics like making your own bread would be good. Also, would like the Rate This App pop up to.. not pop up as often. Otherwise, a great app.

I have installed & uninstalled several apps trying to find what I am looking for. I am prediabetic, this is the only app that addresses this. Diabetes runs in both my parents families. I have lost relatives on both sides to diabetes. Some of my relatives have lost limbs because of this disease, I am determined not to let it get me. I like that it explains diabetes & the importance of nutrition so well. I like the simple meal plans & suggestions. This is just what I have been looking for.

Looks like there might be some good information here, but the type is too small and will not let me zoom in. Another issue is the constant pop-ups asking if I like the app...I wouldn't know because of everything I just described. Time to find a better app that isn't a chore to use.
