Shameful waste of potential. There's the baffling location requirement that could be helpful for GPS tagging projects to quickly reference jobs by site but it doesn't so why require it? I can't register or login and no error message so I don't know why. If I skip it I can connect to and use the tools but they require you to explicitly save data points instead of having an auto log feature which makes no sense and means it's less useful than just paper and pen which is faster anyway.

major issues. 1. Requires location info. WHY?? 2. Doesn't auto log on a time basis. requires a manual save only. 3. doesn't allow graphing or any way to export logs. I have the multi meter. it works fine but I have two others that are just as good. I bought this one for the logging which I find out is worthless.

to start with the app wouldn't pair with my G Note 7, it asks you to log in every time you need to use it. It turned off every few minutes which means entering your email and password constantly. The instructions suck!!! I am returning it today and will never buy another Tool Smart tool by General again. And my location is none of your freaking business and has absolutely nothing to do with using a digital tool of any kind. Do NOT buy their tools!!

When you pair it with the angle finder it says it is connected but it doesn't read the angle on the device. I tried to create a project but apparently crown moulding install isn't one of its selections and you can't make up your own. Overall, a completely useless nonfunctioning app. Fortunately the tool is great and I know how to calculate miter cuts.

The multimeter in it's own is a novelty. The screen has NO display light so, it is absolutely not visible in the dark. Which is why you NEED the app. ONLY if you will be using the app in the dark.

DON'T BUY TOOL. App doesn't actually work. It's buggy. Might be returning my tool smart. Hopefully a company comes out with a good tool and app.

Very disappointing! Received this flashlight camera as a gift it worked great three times. Then I registered the app and it stopped working. Now when I go to connect the connect to the Wi-Fi until I open the video camera and then it disconnects and stays disconnected. Do not bother with the app or the product

Really wish this had graphing, or at least unattended data logging capabilities. Probably would not take much to make the app log data in intervals.

Works fine with my Multimeter. Of course it asks for location; Bluetooth requires that. Seemed to send whatever was one the screen.

I should have read the reviews first. Why does it need my location. Uninstalled. The unit is great, but the app is needlessly intrusive and doesn't do much anyway.
