I have used this happily for years to send files to and from my Linux desktop. Recently, it has stopped working with the most recent versions of OpenSSH. This has been tragic. I hope it's fixed. The FOSS ecosystem on smartphones isn't what it should be, but Ghost Commander is a shining exception. Support it, y'all!

Very useful, especially after updating to the new KEX algorithms supported by most SSH servers; the developers at sourceforge quickly responded to my request for update. Also glad that key management is now part of the GUI instead of a dedicated folder. Would like access to the key manager to be more obvious than press-and-hold the SFTP icon, which I had to look up here to figure out; but I'm splitting hairs at this point. Now, I can securely transfer a variety of stuff between my phone and my SSH servers (over OpenVPN).

Used to be my go-to sftp app but latest changes took a good app and made it useless... It just crashes immediately on trying to connect with no usable error message. Switched to total commander as it actually works.

Used to be ok but newer ssh versions disable the older key exchange algorithms used by this app and make it useless. Recent version constantly crashes Ghost Commander on startup, making it useless. FTP plugin works fine.

#meh (i wisg listed the SMB plugin for now until i figure who my Best Buy order got delivered to, but since all ten or eleven of my phones show a different time, date, year, or calendar, YOUR CONVENIENT NOTIFICATION PROGRAM is requiring me to wait until i get that full body/ back/ face/ all curly hair disease so i finally look like i act, which development is still just.. ) #meh

Good use to access files on SSH servers ! Unfortunately I can't get the connection via keys working. If I'm not mistaken there's no way to use ED25519 (scheme using SHA-512 (SHA-2) and Curve25519), which I would consider state of the art. Please if you have ressources add this to the key feature, thanks! p.s.: I can't get the connection using key working ... at all. Unfortunately I couldn't find any documentation on that either. Tried with an passphrase protected RSA key, getting "Invalid PEM structure, '-----BEGIN...'missing. The file actually starts with '-----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY'... Also it's confusing, it says "Exact host name:" but after choosing a key the filename is listed there???!?

I'm fairly satisfied with this as it allows me to upload media to my Linux machines, however it fails if the phone goes to sleep after a couple of minutes, and the transfer does not preserve file times as I think it should. I hope these can be addressed so I don't have to manually set sleep to never or babysit long transfers!

Suddently every SSH login are rejected on each account on each host - but only in Ghost Commander. When tested from SSH clients, there is no problems. What is this about?
Erich Moraga
Very limited functionality. Does not let you use an authentication key, for example.

Does not allow to specify what port number to use so for me it's pretty useless.
