Not a full-featured replacement... but it's getting closer and provides an excellent interface for most of your GitHub workflow. I didn't see a way to create new pull requests or to create new branches - if those two features existed, this would be perfect for my needs. Great support from the dev team!
Matthew Holderbaum
It's a very handy app in a lot of ways. My biggest frustration is when i try to write a reply on a discussion. When you scroll up to read over what you've written, the damn thing closes the window, causing you to lose all the text.

If you really don't have must to do in GitHub other than exploring, creating issues, commenting; then this would be your best bet. It dies not give you up to 50% of the flexibility you would find on the web version.
Christopher Covington
I really appreciate that GitHub is trying to provide a mobile-optimized experience but it's extra difficult copy pull request descriptions into the squash and merge commit message (the default commit message results in a much less useful git history). And there have been other rough edges.

It runs well, but there are two primary features this app is missing. The first is that I can't access everything that I can from the website. The second one (which is *really* annoying) is that I am not permitted to search anything. I can't search the site, I can't search the repo, and I can't search the page.
Peter
1: You have a bug with image uploads. You can't upload image, if it contains parentesis in name. 2: Also missing horizonal scroll for code. 3: And grouping directories would be nice, opening dir one by one with loading screen in between is annoying.

"app is still in it's early days" is what they say to every review regarding the app lacking features, it's going on to 2 years soon, still severely lacking basic features that you would expect. Just read the other reviews for which features are missing.

the available functionality works great! can't wait for them to add even more! I would like to be able to see the progress of a pushs checks and actions
Simon Burkhardt
Not very intuitive to navigate. It is just so fundamentally different from the website. I was not even able to find a lrivate repository from a colleague that I have access to because it does not show up in my own repos.

The app is a bit difficult to use if you're accustomed to the desktop version, and is missing some features. Overall it looks fairly nice and is useful for quick comments and the like.
