My Contacts Backup is the easiest way to backup and restore your contacts all from your phone without needing a computer or synchronization. You can backup all your contacts with a single touch and send yourself as a .vcf attachment via email.

All contacts can then easily be restored any time by simply opening .vcf file in your mailbox.

Key Features:

* Offline Backup. No need to sync to any server. Just email the backup file to yourself.
* Your adress book is secure and safe. We don't access or store your contacts.
* Easy restore. No need to any app to restore backup file. Just tap on the *.vcf backup file in the Android or iPhone mail client.
* Easily transfer contacts between Android or iPhone devices using just email client.
* Copy backup file to your computer via USB cable feature.
* Set REMINDER to backup regularly (weekly or monthly)
* Backup Contacts as VCF (VCard)

----------
IMPORTANT NOTE: After sending backup file (*.vcf) to yourself, please check your inbox if message arrived and contains attachment (backup file). Sometimes email providers block attachments if attachment size is too large. Try with another mail account if possible, to send your backup file. Or copy backup file (on SD card) to your computer via USB cable.

Great for saving contacts and moving between phones. I just keep coming back to this app. It is so useful to have an email I can just click on if I lose my contacts. Also great for getting all contacts onto a csv file to put into excel and use for my business. Recommended

OUTSTANDING! FAST! ACCURATE! ------- No more need for troublesome & inaccurate Google contact syncing!------- This application does its job perfectly every, single time. ------------It is small, so if you have little storage on the phone, it's a very good choice. (It can be on the SD card, too.) I like how amazingly easy it is to figure out and use. Some apps are quite a project to learn- not this one. And it is FAST! It backed up my bazillion contacts in less than a minute. Then it was polite enough to ask me where it should be sent for safe keeping. ------------ Several days after I installed this, my phone had a brain attack and required transplant surgery. I did not want to use Google synced contacts for a restore because it is always missing some and many are corrupt or missing data. So, I sent my phone an e-mail with the MCBackup I kept on my computer, double clicked it and in less than one minute all of my contacts were back. None were missing nor corrupted. For fun, I made a new backup, nuked the contacts list & tried again. Perfect! Thank You Globile for creating this application and for providing it for us to enjoy!

This app worked very well for several years. Now every time I try to use it, it keeps stopping. It's no good as it is. If it were possible to give no stars, I would definitely do it. In spite of many complaints of the same nature as mine, it doesn't appear that the developers are interested in fixing this app so it can once again be the quality app it first was when I initially installed it. DEVELOPERS, WHERE ARE YOU?

Great contact manager but it started to crash with my new Samsung S20. No longer works. Was a very convenient and easy way to backup contacts. Now the app crashes every time it's opened. I've cleared cache, uninstalled and re-installed, removed my phone's firewall, gave app all permissions, but no luck. Have devs abandoned the app? Suggestions?

Unfortunately, I have a phone with no internet access. The location of the backup file is not mentioned in the app. If I click on the restore button, I have a list of existing backup files, and the folder scrolls slowly across the top, but that folder cannot be located, neither on the phone nor through a USB computer connection. A search for "vcf" or "mycontacts" or "McBackup" returns nothing. All of the "send" options require wifi, internet or bluetooth, none of which this phone can use.

73 year old geezer recommends! I used sharelink to place the .vcf file in a folder on my pc and Libre Office writer to open it to view or print a list of all contacts! That to me is the kitten's behind of hard copy backups, and the .vcf file should be a snap to restore (I hope). Thank you for letting me escape total confusion over the last 3 hours about screens I don't have in my Moto G6 play, permissions I didn't want to give, a gmail account I don't have or want, and syncing my personal info with google drive which leaves me feeling outed. If you are a KISS believer, just start right here. My phone may be smarter than me, but at least I can get wet, broken or lost without crying too much.

Was good but now crashes on Samsung S9 and S20. Where are the backups actually stored? The in app restore shows a directory path, but the "files" subdirectory in that path is empty. It would be much easier to copy the backups to a PC via the USB cable or even wifi rather than sending e-mail to yourself with a large attachment and no option to compress it with the equivalent of WinZip or WinRar.

Stupid program. It says that the files are store in vcf and and be open up with any contact program. However, when i tried open it up, there is an error. The faq already said that it may not be compatiable with other system. The app does not allow me to restore the file. The programmer seem very unwilling to disclose where should the back up file be stored for the purpose of restoration.
