Terrible app/device wifi. The wifi indicator shows on the unit but cannot get it to go into paring mode. Pressing power for 5 seconds does not cause a flashing indicator which instructions show. Lack of response to these posts speaks volumes. Goldair should 1) respond and 2) fix the problem.

My problem isn't with the app so much as the wireless device itself. It constantly loses connection to the wifi and I have to go through the setup again. The router is brand new and is about 1 meter away from the dehumidifier.

Can't connect! App says must have 2.5ghz and I have 5ghz but I have tried and tried and it's just not connecting! So frustrating because the WiFi function was the reason I bought this heater, I now have to keep going into my daughters room to check the temp

Hard to use. keeps asking for location services which is on. Unable to set 24 hour timer. It does work but the instruction docs are rubbish when it comes to this app. Better documentation overall would make it a better product.

Bad bad bad app. Lets you set a countdown timer only. Why have it connect to wifi for such a trivial function. Need to be able to set a weekly on/off schedule. I'm certainly returning the 3 heaters I bought. Extremely disappointing

Please help I have the GD290 Dehumidifier and cannot connect to my wifi. I had it connected once but it stopped working and I could no longer control it. Soni deleted the appliance and now I cannot readd it. I have tried powering off the dehumidifier multiple times to repair it with no luck. There is no wifi button on the dehumidifier. I have no issues with my goldair heater that has the wifi button. Please help me and I will change to 5 star once my issue is fixed and update review

Can't get it to connect to Google Home. Keeps telling me I have no device added to my Goldair account. Very frustrating given it claims it is Google Home compatible.

The app functions well but is missing a basic feature that heaters half the price provide! There needs to be a way to schedule the heater instead of just a countdown timer. Hire some proper app developers ya cheap a*ses.

No 7 day timer which seems like a minimum requirement for this app to be of any use. When linked with Google Home you can only tirn the heater on or off and not change the temperature. The app wording doesnt update when locking or unlocking the heater so its a pain to know if the heater is actually locked

How Goldair can actually sell there heaters as "WiFi enabled" is beyond me. The app is absolutely rubbish and I can't believe you haven't been taken to the Commerce Commission for false advertising. It's been how many years since we had this heater and it barely to never works as intended with the controller. Also - no timer for the week?! Jog on Goldair and employ a developer without an @gmail address. What self respecting developer uses a Gmail address. Pft
