Simple, small, free app to boost your speaker or headphone sound volume. Useful for movies, audio books and music. Use at your own risk. Playing audio at high volumes, especially for a prolonged amount of time, can destroy speakers and/or damage hearing. Some users HAVE reported destroyed speakers and earphones. If you hear distorted audio, lower the volume (but it may be too late). By installing this application you agree that you will not hold its developer responsible for any damage to hardware or hearing, and you are using it at your own risk. Consider this to be experimental software. Not all devices support this software. Try it at your own risk and see if yours works. This app does not work on most 4.2.1-4.3 devices. It should work on 4.4 and higher, as well as on devices below 4.2.1. When you set the boost to zero, Volume Booster will be off. The notification icon is just for ease of launching. This really works. With Bluetooth headsets as well. (NOTE) Use caution however. If your speakers/ear buds start distorting? Back it off a few notches. lol Also, it will consume power slightly faster as you are overdriving the sound, and drawing more power. "Hey Google" also will not hear you if too loud unless you put phone to your mouth. It can't hear you over the loud tunes. haha! 😃 Awesome Lil program though. It delivers what is says. 😎

Love the app, very useful, but TURN OFF STARTUP WITH PHONE. I turned on my phone and turned on spotify after it died in class, but like 3m of listening to music relatively loudly, but not too loud, i was listening to my music, then randomly and extremely delayed, even though the app was turned off and the service was off when it shut down, the app decided to automatically open and turn itself on to half max boost and now my ears hurt, why does it need to startup with my phone??

This booster app is worthy of mention. It is simple to use and boosts the sound I desire for clarity. I have used for several months now and considered best, among other apps. However, it is best to have it turned on before watching. It is a useful tool to have.

Destoryed a second set. I thought was unistalled, but opened automatically (no other apps does this) when my phone updated. Worst. App. Ever. It worked for somethings....but then destroyed my $150 bluetooth earpiece (for calls). I never turned it up past 10%. Extremely frustrating. (I have a backup of the same piece that works correctly, never will I use this again).

Works great 👍 super easy to use . Light data load, Simple and effective. I've tried dozens of volume boosters..... None compare to this one. I'd give it 10 stars if possible. ..... Adding on to my review. This super to use. Don't turn above 40 % Boost. You can get ear damage and speaker damage. No adds . . No Anoying adds. It doesn't turn off ever while your listening or watching YouTube etc. Get the media loaded and ready leave the page up. Switch to media start. It really works flawlessly.

Definitely makes whatever you are using it for louder. I use it on my tablet & it helps so much. The main negative is it seems to turn off way to much & it's to the point that I randomly check it & it'll have to be turned back on. It's really annoying.......

If you want more volume, no app out their compares to this one, and I have tried them all. You need to add a control switch to keep volume up continuous, or off. Oh, a laptop version would be awesome. Kudos designer well done!

Sometimes it works great, but some of the time it doesn't do anything. Not sure how or why this happens. Looking for a better app. 10/28/21 lt seems to be working a little better now, so I'm giving it more than 2 stars 🌟. Just wish it worked more consistently. If it did, I would give it 5 🌟. Haven't found a better app, so am keeping this for now.

To get it to work you have it play the music on whatever app or music player you are using then open Google maps, type in a random destination while the music is still playing, let the Google maps lady talk or whatever then it will boost your audio. I know it sucks but it works lol. Also don't pause or stop your song because you'll have to repeat the steps 😂

I am rating this app 4 out 5 stars because, while it does it's job splendidly (for the most part)..It does unfortunately randomly stop working quite frequently or sometimes, it does not boost the volume of my phone at all. And I have got to restart the app several times to get it to work again. Other than that minor annoyance, this is a great volume booster app with a very simplistic user interface. If you are okay with these little issues then, I would most definitely recommend this app! 👍
