Recently, my phone has been glitching, with the app drawer and all the app shortcuts on my home screen disappearing. They were all just gone. I could only access the drawer from the top of the phone, no more app drawer at the bottom. Restarting fixed this the first time, but I didn't want to have to always do that. Saw that this app (which I know nothing about...) might be the issue, so I forced it to stop, and all apps are back. This app needs an update.

My pixel 3 started acting up, all apps would disappear along with the app tray. I replaced it with the pixel 5a, and still have the same problem. Multiple times a day I have to reboot the phone, or force stop the pixel launcher to get it working again. I've cleared cache and data in the launcher app, but a day or two later it started doing the same thing again.

Same experience others are reporting. I have a Google Calendar widget on one panel--occasionally, if I swipe to it, it is replaced with with Google app (the news feed on the leftmost panel). Then, if I press home, I'm treated to a blank screen--wallpaper only. Have to force close to Pixel Launcher to get everything back. Been happening for a few weeks, now.

The app keeps crashing. Specifically when I swipe to the left (to reach the 2nd home screen to the right) the launcher crashes and displays the news feed (screen to the left accessed by swiping right). To get back to home I hit the home button at the bottom, which displays my background sand all icons and apps. Basically bricking my phone by only displaying the background picture. This happens daily. I have to restart my phone multiple times a day now. Roll back updates and fix this problem.

Great minimalist launcher when it works, and the vast majority of the time it works great. But for the last week it's been crashing several times a day on my Pixel 5a and my partner's Pixel 3a, and only showing the wallpaper and navigation icons until you force close it. As with all Google products, support is basically non-existent and they have nothing to suggest except clearing app storage, which doesn't help.

The only thing good about this launcher is the navigation. I moved from an Xperia to a Pixel to find that can't regroup my apps in the 1pp drawer like I used to and liked to do. It made it much more organised and I could very easily reach for any app I wanted as I put them in their places by myself. Imagine having over 200 apps and you have to keep swiping until you find it. or not. Please as this feature to the drawer very soon. Thank you.

I have a pixel 4 and recently this launcher has been breaking where all icons disappear and all you see is the wallpaper. I can switch to the previous app and current apps continue running but my only fix is to restart the phone and get the launcher working again. A very bad experience for a top-end pixel phone and the default app that ships with it. There are lots of other reviews that say the same thing but I figured I should add a one-star review as well.

Like many other people have been experiencing with this launcher, I have recently also been getting the bug that causes all of the home screen icons to disappear, causing me to have to reboot my phone to fix it. Considering this launcher hasn't been updated since 2017, perhaps it's time to push out an update to fix this.

Broken and generally terrible. Recently this thing broke my phone giving me that "home screen cleared" bug and none of the fixes work. At this point I just use apps through the settings and hope that maybe Google will get their affairs in Order but knowing them I might be better off getting a new phone. Also while I still had it working the UI was terrible. It forces the Google search bar on you and also this horrid "at a glance" widget that doesn't even display the weather half of the time.

Freezing my Pixel every few weeks. I have to force stop the app to bring back my home screen app icons — but just getting to the settings is a problem because I can't pull up my app list. I have to ask Google assistant to open my settings, and from there force stop Pixel Launcher. A quick search on the internet shows a lot of Pixel owners experiencing the same. Get your act together please, it's bad enough these devices are spontaneously bricking.
