This used to be a great app, like last year. Now, it sucks. The system is FREAKING FOREVER crashing or kicking me out. What a PITA!! AND, it notifies me that the app is "not responding" even if I'm not using it & asks what I want to do. It's too bad that what I "really" wanna do isn't an option that they offer!! No wonder it's going to be obsolete soon. Hopefully, Google will handle the program differently, as no one has even tried to fix the problems associated with this app in 2 years.

This app is not what you 🤔 it's what you need for today but to know Google is not the easiest thing! I give it a 4 star beccause I agree to it but need to re-read 2 understand a bit better. Sometimes old is better regardless of the tons of apps that are available. I look forward to hopefully having a safer experience, and for other reasons this old app is capable of understanding the simplicity of the questions about how to fix any problems with your other applications 😀? Thank you Google for!

I have used Hangouts since I worked at a Google partner company 3 years ago and I love it. I can use it anywhere with anyone. Great features and I can have group chats or meetings that allow me to add and remove members without having to re-add people every time I make a change. The most importantly is that, it is user friendly and can't be confused with text messages. My family members over 60 say it's easier for them to use than chat. Please do not remove the App.

There is the occasional crash where I need to either restart my phone or reinstall the app. Been on it for over 3 years. Never really used it other than chat or sending selfie back and forth. Rarely used it to call or video chat but that option is a good thing. As long as you have enough data.in your mobile data plan or a good wifi connection.

Awesome app! I have been using Hangouts for years now, and I love it. I used to use it since before they changed the name, when it was called Gchat. I love all the features this app has, but I do miss the sharing location feature. I love how we can share numerous pics at once, I love how we can save them with ease. DO NOT KILL THIS APP AND LEAVE US WITH THE AWFUL APP THAT IS GOOGLE CHAT! Google chat sucks!!

I don't use this app much, but it's really convenient to use, I actually would appreciate the option to delete past messages like in texting on a cellphone and delete old contacts or have an easier way to remove or block people. Also delete past media sent, since Google seems to store all media in hangout messages and never has the option to delete it or back it up. Also the sound on the voice chat option could be clearer and video calling... sometimes both drop reception and sound quality.

This is a great app! Google please don't make us switch to chat. Chat is terrible and nowhere as good as Hangouts. I'm not switching until you absolutely force me to. And even then, I'll find a different messaging alternative before I switch to Chat. Don't get rid of an app that people are so happy with!

Well first of all I am going to explain why I am giving this 2 stars is because my google hangouts used to work I could send messages to my friends. Now when I send it it always says my text has failed and no it is DEFINITELY not my connection FULL BARS. I would rate this higher if you would fix this thanks!!!

I think, this is new. A Spam warning, on an invite. I like it. But, if I choose to ignore it, it would have been nice if, 1. I could have chosen to keep it attach to the contact. Or 2. Automatically attaching, unless, I remove it. It would be helpful, if you told us why it is spam
