Pros: Good intentions, use of AR, achievements and interaction with exhibits. Cons: Buggy, would load on startup only 1/10 times on the limited service in the convention center and, worst of all, it botched the scanning of my badge. This was an issue because you couldn't change what badge was used on there. All achievement tracking of my phone (incorrect badge) and attractions (correct badge) were then separated. This was not resolved on uninstall or by asking several staff members.

Fantastic idea.... Buuuuut. It freeezes and crashes like crazy and scanner never worked for me and that is very sad for me cause i am a very big halo fan. Missing out on scanning has you miss out on interactive things and collectibles. But if it were to be severely simplified and scanning was not needed for unlocking collectibles, as one of the attractions did by scanning your badge and it saves that info into your app without the app ever opening. So why not use the badge for every unlockable?

This app was designed specifically for the Halo: Outpost Discovery event, and they could have used a little more time fine tuning it. Pros: Great concept, useful information, and easy to use. Cons: Quite buggy, crashed several times, and wouldnt track all achievements completed.

I used it for the Chicago event and by then, most major issues seemed to be fixed. The scanner that you use to find some of the hidden stuff did not work well at all and it lacks push notifications to let you know when events are getting ready to happen so you don't miss them. Other than that, I didn't have any issues that I know some people at the Chicago event had, so your mileage will vary depending on your phone. I use the Galaxy S9+.

Hardly worked in con center due to dead zone throughout. You scan something and have no idea if it took it. My husband's wasn't tracking his at all. It was also confusing what to scan; there were #s, barcodes w/ #s, then other #s that weren't related to the app. Some of the challenges, like interact w/ a Spartan, were confusing because it didn't say if those are real people or a cardboard cutout. The file is huge and it took forever to open, so don't ever push the back button, it exits the app.

So glad to have this app. I'm constantly searching for updates on this event, so having it all in one place on an easy-to-use app is great. I got my tix for this event in Anaheim a few months ago so I'm looking forward to seeing what features in this app help me while navigating the show itself.

Impossible to download on site. A heads up to download this ahead of time would have been great. No descriptions for experiences. Waste of time. Extremely disappointed. Some cool things, but too poorly organized.

Was really cool getting to see all of the VR stuff and the embedded videos that would play but none of the activity scores loaded i.e. combat deck, target practice. Was only able to get my bronze dog tag because of this. -Chicago Outpost.

Overall great concept of interaction while attending the Outpost. needs tweaking to gain full credit of what you participated in. love the idea so keep tweaking til perfection.

have had a bad experience. constant dosconnects, slow, and the worst psrt is that after updating my badge, my character and level carried over hut none of my actual experience. so im a gunnery sergeant whos at the bottom of the leaderboards bc it didnt carry over my XP
