The reason for this review is I just about 15 min ago had my power go off and back on but none of the outlets were working in my camper. First I checked the breakers in which I have a 50 amp camper. All was fine. So I looked out my window and my surge protector had an e4 fault (overcurrent). Not sure it its us or the park. When I went on the app it had a message and reset command. I reset it from in my camper and all was good. I HIGHLY recommend this device. Easy to use and highly efficient.

Please update bluetooth functionality. Initially found device and now no matter what we do,device not found. We removed,reinstalled,stood on top of it,tried,uninstalled app,reinstalled,restarted device... 3 actually. A tablet and 2 phones all android 3yrs or younger. The surge suppressing part seems to be working,just not bluetooth connectivity/app

Once you lose connection with the surge protector you have to uninstall the app and start over to connect with it again and that is not a guarantee that it will connect than either!! Don't waste your time with the app ABSOLUTELY USELESS!!! tried installing on Galaxy S9+, S10+, and tab A all the devices are the same. For the price of this unit one would think that it would have an app that works.

Ehhhhh.. pretty much not needed. Lights go out I don't need an app to tell me that. A really nice feature for the app would be to reset the device from the app without having to walk out to the power source and un plug it. A plus for the app is if you use it to determine what is drawing the most power to cause the trip.

great potential minimal achievement. i love the idea of this app and it works well as far as it goes. kind of amazed it shows the error code but doesn't interpret it? it would be also a nice touch if one could turn the power off and on via the app. logging of data would be a very nice addition. Bluetooth connectivity was fine.

I have the 30A version and it works great. I had a couple over current events and the app notified right away and allowed me to reset. The meter is helpful, I would love a way to save a time-line chart over time. I do occasionally get disconnected from the device 5ft. away but maybe because my rv is stick-n-tin construction.

When it works, its mostly decent, but could use a lot of enhancements that many others have mentioned. History, live graphs, troubleshooting options, etc. Bluetooth has a very short range, but that is somewhat expected, and has a lot of trouble connecting even when standing right next to the device, like I am now. Power cycling, turning BT off and on again, etc., have not worked. Notifications are severely bugged when looking at the preview. Can NOT scan QR code because app skews aspect ratio.

Works perfectly. I love that I can now see how much energy I use monthly, and if a storm or voltage error does chip the EPO I can restart the power watchdog search protector on my phone.

Thankfully did exactly what it supposed to do. Power became dangerous at the campground during a thunder and lightening storm, the bulldog's face turned red and it shut me down to keep my RV safe and my expensive equipment that i had plugged in from frying. Sent me a message to phone that it wasn't turning me back on til safe. Could see what was happening through the app that comes with this unit. Unit is Definitely a must have. I never would have known anything was wrong without the watchdog.

So far no problems. Thought it would track usage? Each time i check it its like just starting over. App only shows me line one and two volts with amps beeing drawn. You think for that much it would bark or want to fetch a stick.
