f.lux removes the bright blue colors from your phone to help you wind down at night and returns your screen to normal the next day. This preview version is not a final release. It requires a rooted phone, and otherwise it will not do much. We appreciate your help with bug reports and feature questions. Most rooted Lollipop and Marshmallow devices (5.x and 6.x) will work. Some rooted Kitkat (4.x) devices will work, but many do not. Known issues: - Many Samsung Galaxy devices do not work - Your screen will flash anytime an app is updated through Google Play Also, if you want to uninstall, do one of these things: - Disable f.lux before uninstalling - Reboot after uninstalling

Great app works as advertise! And for the people who cant read the title "ROOT ONLY" means you need a rooted device. It will not work on a non-rooted device. If you dont know what "root" means, you more than likely have a non-rooted phone and this app wont work for your phone. Auuhg these NPCs giving this app 1 to 2 stars...

Sadly, it wouldn't work on my Android Samsung phone. I also don't like that it asks for my location. If I input location once for my profile, that's one thing but I dont want to turn on my location and be tracked. Not necessary.

App is fine but GPS data shouldn't be needed. The user can enter his own city and app can figure it out from there. Very unnecessary permission to ask for.

Frustrating bug makes this unusable at night. The filter works on my rooted phone however when I open it, it immediately turns off the blue light filter and blinds me at night. Terrible

Awesome app I found on Play store I read a lot of PDF on my mobile and this app is a life saver (eye saver) . Amazingly, this app works on Kernel level, not like any other blue light filter app.But one thing I miss on this app is custom Kelvin scale. Else everything is a expected.

This is exciting because it's the only non-inbuilt screen filter that doesn't cast an obvious orange layer across your screen. A bit flickery at first but it's working smoothly now. Keep in mind the effect doesn't apply immediately, it takes a minute.

Could not get it to work on my Samsung S10, constant error "f.lux was not able to get root access". Looking fwd to an improved version.
